I did not get a chance to make a post at that time but eventually Danwei wrote about it recently on January 14. One week ago, I saw this interesting post on KDS with the title “Pretty girls on Israeli streets”. In the topic were many posted photographs of Jewish girls carrying big guns while walking around on Israel streets.

Here are all the pictures posted on KDS and the only picture still available on Sina:

On KDS, the photos first began with girls carrying guns on the Israel streets. Later in the topic, the original poster posted Jewish girls he thought were good looking. Some appear to be in the military but some are uncertain.

          you guys are funny country you called Israel is made 60 years ago and have nothing but bunch of people who came from all over the world for free(stolen) stuff. medicine or military things you are talking about is all made by western countries. look at their army is all made in USA or stolen information from USA. these guys have a very small GDP which is majority of it from real-estate which comes from free stolen land. for sure if u make house on free land u make more money since u don’t pay for land which is stolen from people who used to live there. so if ur planing to make ur house on others go ahead and move there.

    The girls with guns are like US reserve soldiers – with some differences. They are on a kind of leave from active duty. For example, they may be finishing one assignment at one post and their next assignment might begin some weeks later. It’s like a kind of break from active service. And when they are on “leave” – they must have their firearm at all times as they might be called upon to act without notice or even with out orders (such as seeing a suicide bomber walking into a market 20 meters away.)

    Everything I said applies to male soldiers as well. Women, and men, outside of the military generally do not walk around carrying firearms- they keep them on the wall in their homes.

    All Israelis must spend time in service. Women do not have to do tours that are as long as men- but I am not sure about the exact length of their tour of duty. In any case, every woman photograph with M16 or Uzi are active military personnel who are on a kind of “shore leave”.

    the reason the japs didn’t invade the united states during world war two was that every person/household had multiple weapons rifles shotguns and pistols, as well as a few machine guns and cannons. the state of washington and oregons population at the time had more weapons than japans military
