US Gymnast Shawn Johnson Got Fat, Shocks Chinese

Shocked! Olympic champion beauty actually becoming this fat

NBC previously announced that on January 18 they would broadcast a recording of the 2008 Progressive Skating and Gymnastics.  Progressive Skating and Gymnastics Spectacular is America’s famous figure skating and gymnastics pageant. Every year in December, America’s figure skating stars and gymnastic stars all gather together, in order to contribute to spectators a splendid performance.

This years performance was no exception and all of America’s Olympic gymnastic athletes  were present. Amongst them, the most popular were Shawn Johnson Nastia Liukin. In the midst of the performance, people were surprised to discover that, within the short time between returning to America frm Beijing,  Shawn Johnson had already and completely become a little fatty girl.  Shawn Johnson’s balance beam performance, with a red “scarf” draped around her body,  was truly difficult for people to bear watching. In fact, “frog princess” Nastia Liukin also added a layer [of fat], but compared to Shawn Johnson it was a “small witch seeing a big witch” [nothing, pales in comparison].

    You call that fat?! Are you serious? These girls have worked their WHOLE lives for that Olympics. Guess what? They took first AND second. Hmmm… And the bronze was left to an underage Chinese. Interesting. Don’t you see? Cheaters don’t win. And now that they are finished with that Olympics, they CAN eat. Eating is normal. And ohmygosh! It’s healthy! So what if they gain 1 pound or 10?!?! It’s their decision what they want to do. And if you are calling 115 pounds HEAVY then I would just LOVE to know what you weigh! NEWS FLASH: Shawn and Nastia weigh less than 115 pounds.     I cant believe how terrible you Chinese people are treating this poor girl. So what if she gained a few pounds. Its only natural that she would put on weight when she stopped training as hard. It really shows just how superficial, rude and judgmental chinese people are. Its actually not that surprising considering your country is so far behind the rest of the world in terms of freedom of speech and human rights.

    it’s called an off-season. like any other sport, these gymnasts have an off-season. they diet and work out like freaks all the time. when the games are over, they stop for a while to enjoy life. and when it comes time to train again, u better believe she’ll look like she did in the olympics.

    look at nastia liukin in these pics. she chunked up too. the funny thing is, you all make fun of her for gaining weight, but i bet she is still in better shape than any of you.

    wierd that the chinese got all the medals when the olympics were in china. wierd that their parents didn’t even care to watch them on tv. wierd that china fooled the rest of the world into thinking they were a civilized country.

    yang yilin won the bronze medal?? please. jang jujuan came in 6th and she fell on her fat ass. give me a fucking break. ksenia seminova should have won bronze BY A MILE.

    and speaking of ugly fat asses, cheng fei is possibly the uglist human being i have ever seen, not to mention she is the worst member of the chinese team. that didn’t stop the judges from giving her the bronze medal in the vault though, even though she fucked up and landed on her knees.

    i don’t think i’ll ever watch gymnastics the same way again.

    If Shawn pics are shown in Korean or Japanese forums, the netizens reactions over there would be similar.
    Being thin is what considered attractive in Asia in general, but in East Asia (Japan, Korea and China), the girls need to be skinny to be considered attractive.

    Guys, think about it, you have to remember that this girl probably hasn’t even had her period yet due to the fact she had such low body fat for so many years due to her intense training. If a woman’s body does not have enough fat her body shuts down her reproductive organs because her body can’t sustain life for another.

    Her body hasn’t been training with such intensity and now her body is actually trying to play catch up. She probably finally got her period and her body is going through a weight gain that is much needed.

    Asians are used to seeing tiny people, which is why they see Shawn as “fat”. She certainly has put on weight,but I think she looks bigger because she is muscly and has a LITTLE fat over te muscle.

    Hollywood types and athletes always experience the harsh criticism of the camera, especially if they were or are major sex symbols. People get angry when they’re eye candy loses it’s shape. As a famous person who once enjoyed a super sexy youth, believe me I know. Be stoned if you have a child one too many times and fail to disregard the baby phat.

        Wow you Chinese nationalist b*tch. Who won the all-around? The most important event? Hmm… oh yeah, the US went 1-2 with Nastia and Shawn. Not even bringing up the fact that the Chinese team was underage, the AA event proves that US gymnasts are still number one, and the only reason they didn’t win the team medal was because 2 of their 6 members were injured and could not compete at all.

        And guess what? All the Chinese gymnasts were BUTT UGLY. Really. And all the American gymnasts were SMOKING HOT. You all know it’s true. They enjoy better lives too, because they aren’t stripped from their parents at age 2 and train until they are 10 to get issued fake passports and get enrolled in the Olympics. Your government is seriously screwed up and ethnocentric. The US may owe money to China, but at least they are not sneaky cheaters.

        For the record, I am not biased, because I am an Asian. I can say that Shawn is NOT fat and that I definitely prefer western looks over asian looks. In my opinion, caucasian girls look more distinguished and attractive, while asian girls tend to be sickly-looking and identical to eachother. I live in America, and I have yet to see many fat people. Most people work out, so they are most likely more healthy than people in China, who are shorter, skinnier, and weaker than most Americans. I don’t know, I think I’d rather be taller, stronger, and NOT look like tiny rubber dolls.

          Who won the most gold medals at these Olympics? China.

          And people have yet to prove the Chinese gymnasts are/were underage. Innocent until proven guilty, any American knows that. And 2 good gymnasts on our team =/= better team than China’s.

          I don’t think the Chinese gymnasts were ugly, I like many others, thought He Kexin, Jiang Yuyuan, and Deng Linlin, were adorable. I thought Li Shanshan was gorgeous, and Yang Yilin and Cheng Fei looked okay. But you can think they are ugly, it is your opinion and that’s okay, too. And for the record, I do think the girls on the American team were very pretty.

          It DOES NOT matter in the least whether you’re Asian or not! Did Hitler say “I am not against Jews because I’m part one”? I’m not implying your actions are as dreadful as Hitler’s, I’m implying what ethnicity(s) you are is not in the leas bit important.

          I frankly don’t care if you prefer the European look over the Asian one. I like guys of all races, so what? Anyways, the reason Asians look much more alike is all about WEATHER. The weather in Europe is different in almost every country, and the weather in Asia is more similar all over.

          I do think you are biased, and the sentences “I live in America, and I have yet to see many fat people. Most people work out……” is a bit of a give away. America has the most overweight people in the world, and I know many kids in middle school who can’t even do 1 proper push-up, never mind pull-ups. At that age, I had trouble with mile runs. I still do.

          The Chinese are shorter because of their environment. The gymnasts are skinnier because they’re GYMNASTS, and I do not know how strong the average Chinese citizen is, so I can’t agree/disagree with that one.

          All in all, what I REALLY think is you should stop shooting yourself in the foot because of what I said.

She gained a little weight and lost the tone in her muscles due to lack of training but that does not make you fat. she has a perfectly fine figure and she is still cute as a button. Quit being so mean and show some respect for an Olympian that represented the USA winning a gold medal and 3 silvers.

    I myself a slim girl and i want to keep it that way, cos thats what i like in me. But believe me, there are lots of attractive chubby girl/guys out there.

    I am slim 5.10″ (175) and 125 lbs (56kg), but i always date men over 85kg, as i think they are more hot. I never ever want to date a skinny guy. never.

    but yes, i still keep my body slim with exercise and diet. i dunno why i want to keep slim but prefer my guy to be meaty. maybe its just “oppostie attraction”.

    Alright, I’m from America, i’ve been living in China for about 1 year(it’ll be exact on 4 June), and i dont think she’s fat at all. So, she gained a little weight. What’s the big deal?
