poor kid…i wanna cry…
this old man is so nice…
when i was a kid, the school asked us for 80 yuan, its around 1994, 80 was really a lot for a kid, it’s called some study insurrence, so that kids could not quit school, its returned after school,i just felt its too much, my sister and brother all in middle school, its a huge burden for family already.
so i did not tell my parents, never mentioned, everytime teacher asked me to stand up, i just told her next month my father got salary. teacher was very kind to me, since i was such a smart kid, after several times, she never asked, still liked me a lot, latter i went to the best middle school in my town at least a good reward to her.
my family was that poor that time, but 80 was too much for a kid, i was so scared.

I’m glad to have read such a nice story. I being from the United States was also born poor. I have worked hard all my life since the age of 12. I have never excepted a hand out nor welfare=food stamps =unemployment or ang government hand outs. I have seen many in my country take advantage of every thing they can. Its paid for by the people who work and not the rich but the poorer classe. China receives 2 billion dollers a years to help the poor. That money comes from the low to middle class workers. Not the rich. As said in my country dont have children if you cant afford them.
