Aunties Fight On American Bus, Chinese Netizen Reactions

cantonese-auntie-fights-black-auntie-on-sf-bus

This is an incident that happened on a San Francisco bus. The Cantonese auntie’s English is limited and she can only say few words such as “F-word you” and “you are stupid”. The black auntie hit the Cantonese auntie first and it evolved into a full scale fight later.

Here’s the movie:

It is said the black auntie took two seats and the Cantonese auntie said “Excuse me” and asked her to move. The black auntie refused.

  1. The black auntie pointed to the auntie’s face with a finger and yelled “You are going to walk off the bus”.
  2. The Cantonese auntie defended her dignity, said “You are stupid” and “f-word you”
  3. The black auntie got close to the auntie and said “say it again, say it again”
  4. The Cantonese auntie said it again
  5. The black auntie hit first
  6. The Cantonese auntie fought back and showed her flying kick
  7. The black auntie was defeated.

I thought I was watching a US soap opera.

Jr324:

What an exotic flavor!

内线大杀器:

Did the black person forget they also fought for their racial rights on a bus before?

激动的仙女腿:

Cantonese auntie is fearless!!! The black is unequal.

However, the people on the bus were so apathetic which made me sick ~~~

China is still better ~~~

Alpacino322:

It’s said it happened in NY. The auntie carried a lot personal stuffs onto the bus. The black took two seats and refused to give one. Then they quarreled. The black took the first hit and the Cantonese Auntie fight back. Some passengers yelled “beat her” in Cantonese.

Hghv vcvc:

[in English] never start a fight but always finish it.that is good.

温哥华小乙:

That’s the sexy 80s’ sport suit and a flying kick. Swiftness has nothing to do with body weight indeed.

笨笨女巫888:

This auntie is fearless. Pity she doesn’t speak English.

北京的萌萌:

I’m feeling embarrassed. We are all calling this auntie “Kong Fu Panda” now.

烟花即逝:

Is the auntie Huang Fei-Hong’s descendent?

我叫oNe:

I should be more careful next time I get on a US bus.

Z4020480:

A black people has already become president.

情意绵绵:

They probably forget Chinese fight with Kong Fu.

Hcg22692:

I heard that some passengers yell“stop fighting” in Cantonese.

怪物不丑:

Beating people is wrong, but I think this is a good one!

烧机油:

This is more refreshing than the parade.

上官轻云:

I support this auntie’s actions. Black people that once had no human rights in the United States but now dares to bully us Chinese people deserve to be hit. Do they not know China presently holds sway over the world economy?

Comments from Chinanews:

ynwfnfcu:

Now I know the importance of learning a foreign language.

Slcapf:

And I know the importance of learning Chinese Kong Fu.

  1. ChinaSMACK indeed.

  2. Well if you put a Hong Kong Cantonese with a mainland mandarin, you will def find the Hong Kong Cantonese be quieter. But again, Cantonese restaurant are generally louder than any other chinese cuisine, i guess its just their culture embedded into them.

  3. “上官轻云:

I support this auntie. The black has no human right in US but they dare to bully our Chinese?”

just another one of the millions of clueless netizens in china…

    • whilst you’re an expert on china are you?

    • I’m curious, did anyone actually watch the video? The Chinese broad was the one hogging the two seats, not the African American. You can see her bags on the seat. She started the insults. She started the aggressive posturing and spitting “F-U” in the other womans face.

Is this how Chinese act in public? Is this your proud tradition? You self righteous piss ants need to take a better look at what you’re promoting here, racism and hatred spiced with bull crap nationalism? Is that what the Chinese Century is going to be about? You talk about American arrogance? Ha! Disrespect breeds disrespect, I hope you guys enjoy reaping what you sew…

The sweet part will be when the African American “auntie” uses this website footage to sew the selfish aggressive Chinese bully…

      • negatives – the truth does hurt doesn’t it. Chinese gal is totally wrong here, but our little netizen’s can’t bear to hear that. Hell you were too damn lazy to watch the video, it’s all there. Even the “Americanized” Chinese breaking it up. Don’t see that in Fights on buses in China, a couple of good examples right here on this website of bus drivers getting stomped for no reason and not a single swinging swanz lifts a finger.

        • I watched the video, if I understand you correctly, it wasn’t the black lady’s fault for turning a verbal fight into a physical one, it was the Chinese lady’s fault for getting her face into the path of a swinging fist??

As for acting aggressively, did you mean not moving her face when the other person is pointing at it at close range?

I’m curious, does the video look different when your head is up your ass?

      • The beginning of the what started all this wasn’t shot on video. The black lady had both seats, the chinese lady politely ask the black lady for the seat to which the black denied, one thing led to another and then this is where we are at now. Couldberabbit, you are right when you say “the truth doesn’t hurt does it” but you should get the “truth” before you go on full blast about something which you don’t have the facts for. In my humble opinion

        • How could the black woman have two seats when she had no bags? And she was standing in front of the Chinese woman? If that is so the Black woman would have probably had her back to the window instead of the other way around. And if the Chinese woman was complaining about the Black woman having two seats then why would she then put her own bags on the seat? It was the Chinese woman that had her bags on the seat. The Black woman was wrong for hitting the woman but I don’t think she was the one who originally had the seat.

I think we are being toyed with by whoever posted this video.

    • Everyone in the U.S. has rights. Not like China.

  4. Great another reason for Chinese mainlanders to become even more racist. I like how they’re not bothered at all by the fact that the woman is in goddamn America and she can’t speak English. Fatass should’ve moved, but seriously, is it that hard to get at least to fob level English? Stop being a bunch of lazy leeches. The woman is ridiculously old, there’s no excuse for not even being at something closer to native level by this point, but I’m hoping that she’s just a tourist.

    • I agree, it’s good to learn the language of the country you are in. But it’s quite possible that she only recently came to the United States (again maybe not, just raising the possibility). Sure she may be old, but that definitely does not mean she’s spent any significant length of time in the US.

      • True, which is why I’d say fob english would have sufficed, but I don’t think she’s even at that level from what the video shows. I don’t know if there is a country in the world that doesn’t know “f*ck.”

    • Yeah, and all the laowai in China should learn Chinese too, but how many do?

      • Never said that I approve of that. My personal rule is to never aid or befriend any of the ones that can’t unless they serve a useful purpose. Point here is a stupid/lazy foreigner population isn’t something China has a monopoly on.

      • The Gastarbeiter should learn Chinese?! I’m sorry but beyond the basic phrases there seems no point to learn more, esp if your only going to be in China for one year or so….

    • I don’t agree that she needs to know the language because she’s in America, but I do think if you’re going to curse someone, you should know more than just F YOU!!!

They both should act their age and show some civilized behavior, something a lot of you morons who call themselves “netizens” could use a refresher in…

  5. A stereotyped “nigger” from back home . . .
and people keep on insisting that Blacks don’t have a social problem in the US.

All I’m saying is that if this had happened in a Black neighborhood and the bus was full of Blacks instead of Asians and Whites, Auntie would be dead.

  6. Hahaha, I always find it funny that people have to noted its Chinese vs Black. Gosh, they are prob both Americans, it should be “American Ladies fighting on the bus”. When things like this happen instead of blaming African Ghetto culture or w/e, why cant ppl address there r just some fucktards in American society no matter what races, from what background, there r just fucktard.

    • I agree, people are just people.

      • Kenneth, I know you’re trying to put a good spin on it, but it’s just not true. Maybe you’ve been too far removed from the inner city in the US. Most violent disturbances are caused by blacks in the inner city. Just this morning, there were two roudy black kids playing in the subway, that forced people sitting near them to get up and move away. Blacks are usually the perpetrators, not the victims in the ghetto.

  7. “Cantonese auntie is fearless!!! The black is unequal.

However, the people on the bus are so apathetic which made me sick ~~~

    China is still better ~~~”

Um, what? in this case people actually pull the two apart and get them to stop fighting. what action did we see that when the two guys beat the shit out of the wuhan bus driver?

Anyway, I have to agree with 温哥华小乙, that 80′s sports suit is sexy

  8. They BOTH ghetto as fuck. Auntie been in America long enough to get a green card, auntie ought to learn some english.
Baps over there ought to squeeze all dat azz into one seat too.
I look forward to Pusan Playa’s comment on this.

  9. The yellow had already put hand on the Elder (listen to what she says at the beginning). The yellow was standing in front of two seats. The yellow also out weighed the Elder by more than 50 lbs. The yellow lies and is a fat bully.

  10. I 2nd ImmortalzTechnique the first time I saw this I was like man they ALL ghetto.

  11. who the hell does the black lady think she is to hog 2 seats, Rosa Park?!

  12. I saw this video yesterday on Dlisted…I must have seen a different video, because in the one I saw the asian lady had taken up two seats one had her stuff I guess she was going to sit in the other one and the black woman wanted to sit in the seat with the asian lady’s things which caused them to start to fight…

    • I was wondering about that. The article didn’t make it clear why the black woman would hog two seats. If it the case of the Chinese lady taking two seats, this would likely put a slightly different spin on how the argument started. Both reacted like retards tho

  13. Also to the person who wrote about this incident…I think you could of phrased things in a better way…

  14. I love the part when the Chinese lady goes into traditional form karate and lets off a little shriek right before thrusting a front kick. priceless.

  15. “the black”???

    speakee English?

  16. Hey here is a little background story as this happened in my neighborhood, San Francisco Chinatown. It was one of those buses that goes through Chinatown towards downtown. The Chinese lady wanted to sit down because the black lady was sitting down with her bag on the other seat. She said “excuse me” and I believe “please” as well. Yet, the black lady refused to.

Now this is the part where I hear different things. But most agree that the Chinese lady sat down anyways and took up a lot of verbal abuse and threats form the Black lady. The Chinese lady took a lot of nasty things before she got heated and stood up to yell back

  17. In reply to this comment “I support this auntie. The black has no human right in US but they dare to bully our Chinese? Don’t they know we are leading the world economy nowadays?”

    - fact : China has always been the leading polluting economy.
    - fact : Chinese have less rights in their own country compared to coloured people in the West.
    - Despite your economy runs ‘ok’ these days, you people use the toilet as well, right ? So, does it really make you different from other races ?
    - Talking about toilets, chinese still use a hole in the floor to take a dump, right ?
    - Chinese have no manners, maybe you people could focus a little on education instead of bragging about your economy

    • And your lack of intelligence is demonstrated by your post. Your “response” makes completely 0 sense to what the commenter had said.

The commenter is saying how Black People in America themselves face a lot of racism and are discriminated against, and yet still try to bully Chinese people…

      Comprehension fail.

      a) China has always been the leading polluting economy? What the fuck does that mean? You mean China is the largest polluter in emissions? I’m sorry, China has only been the largest polluter NOMINALLY for several years. The USA held that title for the previous century.

      b) and even less in America

      c) maybe you should focus on a little education instead of insulting others, because of your lack of education you have obviously misconstrued the meaning of the commenter.

      • I think we can’t deny China is one of the leading polluters in the world… I’m not claiming they’re no.1.

You missed the point of my comments I guess and I’m sorry for not being clear on the topic:
What did the argument about a growing economy has to to with the way people are treated in the first place ? Does a person or a certain race deserve more respect only because his economy is stronger nowadays ?

I guess because the chinese economy is running well, that all of a sudden people should have more respect for the chinese ?!?
In fact, all people are equal, no matter if you’re chinese or american or whatever nationality… The status of ones economy, the thickness of ones wallet does not make a person superior compared to other races.

        • It’s bulls**t to say china is the world biggest polluter. On a per capita level, it’s not even in the charts. Sure, china put send marginally more co2 into the air than the US, but china has five times the people. The average american pollutes five times more than a chinese. And on top of that, it was the west that has polluted the world for the last century.

          • Ahem, Ive heard this argument so many damn times I have to say something.

America killed the Indians,(yup), America had slaves(Im pretty sure), America polluted the hell out of itself in every possible way from dumping toxic waste into the ocean to pumping enough soot, CFC’s, and CO2 to set the clock back around 10,000 years.(No one ever argues about this). DOES THAT MAKE IT OK TO DO IT AGAIN?!!! If you are an intelligent person who can add 2+2 and understands that the earth is round and there are in fact more people than you and your family on this space rock we call Earth…then you know that just because someone else does or did something doesn’t make it OK. China as well as any developing country might take this into thought when they use the “but I saw him doing it” when they make an argument for why shitting where they live is a “good idea”.

America has spent probably more money and a hell of a lot more time cleaning up the messes of the industrial era than it did creating them for profit. Even now a small operation on the Hudson River in New York to dredge up harmful chemicals in the sediment is costing hundreds of millions of dollars. Thats ONE place and ONE problem. Multiply that by hundreds or thousands and you get a picture of what you get for acting like a kid in a hurry to get back to the house with a bucket full of milk. While it’s absolutely acceptable to attack anyones record, its surely not acceptable to take it as an excuse for your own idiocy.

          • Somethin Somethin

The people who employ the argument that China has a far lower per capita green house emissions are saying the “Do as I say not as I do” attitude of the only country who refused to sign the Kyoto protocol dictating to the rest of the world on green house emissions is more than a little hypocritical and irritating.

As for pollution in the more general sense, it is a tremendous problem in China but one that has been woefully handled thus far. But it’s gonna be tough since China is rapidly becoming the world’s factory, and pollutants are released when the products are created, not where they are sold. Until China makes structural transformations of large sectors of the economy, environmental regulations are just gonna be band-aid solutions.

  18. In the beginning the woman to the right was repeatedly saying “don’t put your hands on me, bitch”. I’m sure it’s just a case of pushiness that wasn’t comfortable for the person born in the states, lol. Geez both are older, why the hell they gotta be acting like this.

  19. You should go ask some black people how they wish to be addressed: African American or Black.

Many choose black, simply because their African roots are so distant and alien to them.

I mean… how many times have you heard “Obama is the first African American president” vs. “Obama is the first black president”? At least for me, it’s mostly the latter.

Most news agencies tend to use both. Probably just to prevent getting asinine comments from people like yourself.

  20. ChinaSmack loves this shit. Do you guys ever get tired of posting racist shit you would never say beyond your keyboard? Get a life, god damn.

I suppose if the Asian woman started the fight I could say “oh, those yellow peril china men, if america had any sense, they wouldn’t have lifted the Chinese Exclusion Act, we should’ve kept them on the rail road tracks and then shipped their primitive chinky asses back to the orient.” ?

You guys are fucking pathetic, and if anything makes me sick on this thread it’s you mother fuckers.

    • but Jimmy, thats precisely the point.

Of course this kind shit doesn’t happen in the America.
Conversely, its noteworthy that it does happen in China.

ChinaSmack’s report is a good way of observing and reflecting on the common Chinese netizen’s psyche. In this is case, its collective racism.

One can ignore this phenomenon and show racism doesn’t exist on the minds of average Chinese netizen.

If anything, I’m grateful China Smack brought this sensitive subject into our attention.

  21. Aah, Pusan “Playa” you always seem to have such contempt for us primitive Blacks but why is it that you and your fellow countrymen can’t stop stealing our “primitive” “savage” culture and repackaging it as your own?

Your very name represents the contradiction of your views. I suppose my “wild animal” grand father should’ve stayed in America instead of fighting in the Korean War to save your primitive ass.

  22. America’s Great melting pot has given us another distasteful soup that we hate to eat.

In the words of another black man who got his ass kicked “Why can’t we all get along?”

    May God/Buddha help us all!

    • Why does it have it to racial?

Can the same scenario occur between two black women or two chinese women? Would it be any less intense?

I don’t think it has to do with cultural pluralism much rather than their individual bitchiness. After all, its not like they are in a fight to the death to defend their racial dignity.

  23. >> The black auntie pointed to the auntie’s face with a finger and yelled “You are going to walk off the bus”.

I believe the black auntie was saying “Put your hands on me, and I guarantee you won’t walk off this bus.” She was goading the Chinese auntie to make the first punch.

  24. the ABC was total fail. She disurpts the business of others and has the guts to swear at the auntie.

  25. As a San Franciscan, all I can say is that these things happen all the time on the bus, (especially this line–it’s the most delayed bus line in the city) between all races. This one is different only because someone was recording it.

    • Seat altercations seem the main amusement of SF Muni commuters after waiting hours for their bus. We don’t usually see it come to blows though. And the reaction was typically SF too. We don’t really do anything until it gets bad. After all why would you intervene in a fight you’re not involved in? You might spill your coffee.

Oh, was anything in this fight racial besides the two participants being from different races? I don’t have sound but that would surprise me. San Franciscan’s can look down other people for any number of reasons aside from race. It’s kind of what we do.

Despite this video, most of the people in this city are friendly and get a long quite well. But MUNI kind of sets even the best of us off.

  26. I’ve seen this sorta stuff happen on LA buses as well. I sometimes miss the racial tension that exists in America. I’m glad people don’t have to B.S. about a “harmonious society”.

  27. They are both low class silly bitches and embarrass us all by acting like such twits. All you defending the actions of either are as stupid and as ignorant as these two silly twats.

Bravo you have once again proved why people are pointless ignorant selfish fools.

  28. BS where is the video, a pic of two big mammas facing, and there comes the story?

  29. this is just two old ladies arguing over a seat

If they were the same color, did the exact same things, no one would give a shit.

    Think about it, morons.

  30. I don’t see the point of the ladies having a bust up on a bus. If they had any common sense or courtesy, its usually the older of the person or who is in need who should take the seat. e.g. There are priority seating in buses elsewhere.

Otherwise it should be First In First Serve

  31. i saw the video; and the chinese lady’s aantonese has a heavy mandarin/mainland accent. perhaps shes from guangdong.

  32. I mean cantonese. and probably from guangdong province, bar HK

  33. This was just a run-of-the-mill dispute that came to a head because both parties happened to get super-annoyed simultaneously. Call it “bus rage”. The older lady kicked it off by cursing the young un. The young un was wrong to respond to the old lady’s fighting words by punching her. If it had come to a civil suit, both parties would have been assessed court costs. I’ve seen variations of this with a whole bunch of other ethnic groups. This kind of thing occurs in China as well, among ethnic Chinese of the same province and of other provinces. The difference is that in China, if one of the parties is from another province (clearly distinguishable because most provinces have their own spoken language and that spoken language influences their Mandarin accent) and is clearly in the minority, the odds are good that locals will gang up to beat up – or at least curse – the outlander.

  34. Here’s the relatively high quality original:

Hilarious commentary by a San Franciscan:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2D1unjnBBo

    A topical video:

  35. This happened on a SF bus line that goes through Chinatown. Not New York as mentioned by one commenter. The black lady held up to seats and did not let the Chinese lady sit down. That’s what the Chinese lady kept saying, “She was hogging up the seats and wouldn’t let me sit”. The black lady TRIED to be intimidating. She repeatedly said, “you put your hands on me and I guarantee you won’t get off the bus” and “bitch, put your hands on me”. The Chinese lady called her “stupid” and when the black lady asked her to say it again, she got what she asked for, the Chinese lady said “you are STUPID!”. When the black lady asked her (again, as if she was deaf or so) “Say it again”, the Chinese lady repeated “you are STUPID” followed by “FUCK YOU, you are STUPID”. The black lady threw the first punch and we all know what happened afterward. I’ve lived in SF all my life, rode the buses and know how crazy the passengers can be. Some just act tough to get their way. Some, like the black lady, would hold up seats by placing their belongings on a crowded bus, and some wouldn’t move aside when you want to sit in the empty seat next to them. Yeah, you can let it go but you know, after a long day of work and you’re tired and all you want to do is sit down and the person next to you is acting like they’re such a big shot, I for one wouldn’t put up with crap like that. Now do you suppose that black lady is going to mistreat people on the bus again or take up seats and not sit down on a crowded bus? I don’t think so. If she’s smart, she should learn from this experience that not non-speaking English people are easy targets nor are they passive and wouldn’t put up a fight.

  36. All I can say is that it served that bitch right, getting her ass stomped for being rude and arrogant. I’m glad that Cantonese lady stood up for herself.

  37. Its too fucking bad that the USA lets anyone in now-a-days. Dumb ass Chinese can’t even act civilized when living in another country.

You should see what its like to get on a train or bus in Shanghai or Wuxi – they are fucking animals.

  38. Obviously, the Chinese auntie felt wronged. She explained to the passengers before and after the physical fight that she had asked politely the black auntie to give up one seat.

  39. Fights on buses happen everywhere. The bus driver should have got involved.

  40. Wow! 2 racists who AREN’T white!

  41. whew…it’skinda ironic…China is actually very close with Africa…

  42. I’m still waiting for round 2…….

  43. this happen in san francisco muni and it is not NY!!!

  44. You know who bothers me…the smug white guy…smiling and thinking this is funny…and filming this…

this is bullying to the worst degree

  45. uh oh, bus of flying kick

  46. 啊婶夠薑!!! “beat that hoe” beat that hoe lol

  47. Your born, you suffer, you die
    but there’s a Loophole

  48. oh hell not sista messed with the real sista!

    • I’m not racist or anything but Blacks in San Fran do not like Chinese people. This is a fact. You’ll know it when you get here. So many times I’ve had Black bus drivers pass me by at the bus stop or they’ll try to cut in line at the deli, talk harsh, nasty and rude all because of race.
They don’t know it but I grew up with Blacks and considered them pals until the ones I don’t know acted rude on a general basis.

So anyway, Chinese auntie did the right thing by sticking up for herself and not letting Blacks push her around. The Black lady has also learned something; that not all Asians are timid and scared, too quick to turn the other cheek.
