Tuzki Emoticons: Real Person Version By Chinese Students

Tuzki (兔斯基, tu si ji) is a popular white rabbit cartoon character that appears on many emoticons used on Chinese QQ, MSN, and BBS forums. Some students at a Chinese university have created a “real person version” of the famous Tuzki emoticons that has recently been spreading again:

  1. Ok, I just watched over 4 minutes of that….
Now I’m off to kill myself.
So long world, all hope is lost.

  2. LoL, that Tuzki character is pretty hilarious, I always wondered what “that white rabbit” was called and why it was so ubiquitous. Now I know, though that official website is donkey-balls slow. Cheers to the kids for making the silly video, they’ve got spirit. Oh, and the Tuzkism graphic is bitchin’.

  3. To the chinese comments, and 250:
At least they have a sense of humor, I found nothing wrong with those, just enjoy what are there. Dont call people mental r3tards or ridicule them while u may laughing at their acts (I believe some people would just call these actions are silly). Anyway, they make an effort and didnt harm society, dont ridicule. Stop acting like you are righteous and what you do is hope of the world. I find tat part amusing.

  4. When you think most of them are over 20 years old and it’s not second-degree jokes, you get scared.

I know it, I work with this generation of kids… I get scared everyday of work how immature they stay…

May I remind you that there’s not much of a second or third degree of vision in China?

    • Well, from a Western adult’s perspective one may get the impression sometimes that many Chinese young people are maturing at a slower pace than those in the West. Considering the enormous stress they are subjected to in order to achieve 高考 and a degree afterwards, that should not wonder so much. Beneath that, my impression is that Chinese are less shy to perform in the public, be it 太極拳 or 气功, so why shouldn’t those young folks have their fun, too? And when observing pop or sport fans overall in the world, their behaviour is somewhat strange, too, for any outsider.

  5. There’s just one more thing i’d like to say about this:

It’s amazing what men will do for the possibility of getting laid.

  6. This is pretty great. I think the fun of it is in how really bad they all are at mimicking their particular tuzki.

  7. It was cute, cool and they had fun doing the video. What is the problem with it. Like no one here ever did anything silly. RIGHT?

  8. Good to see some college kids having fun doing something silly together.

  9. Nice article on this issue.

  10. cute video and all, and I’d probably throw a bone to most of the girls in the video, but damn, they’re pretty bad at mimicking those movements… their heart just ain’t in it!

  11. Lizard King, do you have multiple personality disorder. Because one min you are like “fuck those damn chinks” then next “stop hating on them!”

    LOL.
