2010 July 31, B League, Dalian Yiteng took the field at Liaoning Normal University Stadium against the cross-town rival Dalian Aerbin team, with the ultimate score being 2-0 for Dalian Yiteng against Dalian Aerbin. During the match, due to being unhappy with the head referee and linesmen’s calls, a female football fan repeatedly charged onto the pitch throughout the game, chasing and hitting the referee, interrupting the match for 6 minutes.

      Finally, someone is taking soccer games seriously in China! Unlike most Chinese soccer fans, she is still going and watching Chinese soccer games, that’s some high level admirable endurance for sure.

          Helsinki is in Finland. The Nobel prizes are handed out in Stockholm, Sweden. Except for the peace prize, which is handed out in Oslo, Norway.

      I love to laugh at the empty Bird’s Nest National Stadium collecting dust because it will be many years (and a regime change) before China will allow clean professional sports. They should tear it down and use the materials for building schools.

    This is really off-topic but is there any Asian nation that some Chinese do not have disparaging names for? I have seen abusive names for the Japanese (of course), the Koreans, the Vietnamese, the Indians and possibly even for the Thai.
