The difference is that the USA still has a constitution that upholds "the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness"and the principle of private property as in the 2nd Amendment, ie the right to defend oneself with force if necessary. Correct me if I am wrong, but China does not have such a Constitution and is merely a signatory to UN human rights treaties. Another major difference is that the US is a much more belligerent aggressor state than China, but these days does so under the auspices of NATO, which represents the global power block of US, UK and Europe.
