My experience studying abroad in America many years ago: I once spent 5000 USD to buy a second-hand car from a black couple. I knew there was an oil leak but didn’t do anything. Several weeks later, a warning light came on but again didn’t do anything. Finally, while on the highway, the engine burned down. The repairs cost over 2000 USD. When the black couple heard, they insisted on covering half of the repair costs. Whenever someone says bad things about black people, I think of that couple. Please remember: Integrity/character first.
