Boosting soldiers’ cold resistance: A Liaoning border regiment’s soldiers are “buried alive”!!
Comments from Tiexue:
heron55555:
Training is good, but definitely don’t hurt your health!
jiao25239394:
If they train more normally, there will be less injuries during war! Support!
中华一儿郎:
This is how the determination/will-power of iron-blooded soldiers is developed!!!
光明乌瑟尔:
Good soldiers are produced by training. Seeing this much snow, I as a southerner am already shivering! Impressive!
qiqiyzy123:
They didn’t even ask doctors if this is actually good/meaningful! I bet when they become older, they will be afflicted by after-effects! This official, acting recklessly! Not considering the soldiers’ health! Should be criticized heavily!!!
流氓雁:
SB…what the hell are these people doing??? Will training soldiers in the future require them to be naked, to save on military spending?
The human body has limits. Do they really think they can train people into steel/iron?
中国空军元帅:
How come there are always some people who cannot accept our Liberation Army’s power/strength, always saying foreigners are great regardless of what they do, yet when we do it no one says a good word.
zler:
Being buried in snow is actually warmer than standing naked in snow, refer to the polar bear and Eskimos.

Actually, the backbone of the miltiary are these basic/low level troops, on these simple and stupid common soldiers…
These days, I always feel the military is divided into two worlds, one is the high life-living fat headquarters and high commanders. The other is the harsh lives and archaic training of the low-level soldiers.
At the same time, the military cannot be divorced from the overall society, and whatever society is like, the military is like as well.
The training for low-level soldiers is pretty harsh, and it would be better if it were more scientific, but I’m afraid they only know to train the body [not the mind].
I cannot verify this but I have heard that last year in Fujian, a member of a special military unit became the first martyr/victim of severe avian flu. Allegedly, the military ordered that nothing must be spared to keep him…I bet everyone can imagine how he was able to contract avian flu, training in the wilderness, he probably had to eat raw meat of wild animals.
Brave, adorable soldiers…
阿尔法小组:
You guys have it so rough!
The most adorable people! They must train, Chinese people’s cold-resistance is not as strong as the Russians (this is fact)!
…so they must train!
For the country’s security, northern troops must endure more of this kind of hardship!!!
I salute you guys!
绝影紫蓝:
Is this going too far? I am a little hesitant, and feel there is no need for this.
西北旺:
I feel harsh training in the military is very necessary, but we must follow a principle, which is to not train recklessly. These days, the situation is much better, we should follow scientific methods, and not let them lose their youth and their lives on the training grounds.
zhezhe117:
After seeing this I feel like murdering someone. I’m very upset. This is definitely making a joke with soldiers’ bodies. There are many methods of training cold resistance, there is no need to be this extreme. I curse the leader/official who suggested this idea.
