  1. Sitting on the sofa while reading this, so I am really getting a kick out of this post.

  2. They’re clearly not very wealthy. The room they’re in looks like some kind of spartan, soviet hospital in Belarus. Burning 100 kuai notes is wasteful.

Considering that they got a lot of attention for it, I guess they got what they wanted.

  3. real money dont burn like that.

    try it.

    • This is probably one of [10 tips from a professional: how to impress girls] I read many years ago from a magazine:
A piece of paper of dollar size, one side printed, one side blank, you roll it with blank side in, and use it to lit your cigarrete in from the girl.

Whatever. People are so bored and stupid to do this. CHinese people really have no entertaiment in life, I dont know if it is because of the poverty in China or just because it is in our blood. Why they dont spend time in Ski or Windsurfing?

  4. They probably just saved up money to do this single post.

  5. I would not even do that for 50c!

    -五毛党万岁

  6. The money is fake. The flame should not be red. It should be green or blue flame.

  7. yes fake money, burn one, and you’ll see the difference in flame color

  8. So, does the money being fake make this post better or worse?

  9. Been watching a little too much gangster music videos?

  10. What a great idea, I have a few fake bills sitting at home as well, perfect for upcoming April Fools

  11. Actually, if it’s the same law as in USA. As long as MORE THAN 50% of the bill remain, they can just go to the bank and redeem for a new bill. You TOO can light a $1 bill, but preserve the greater half. . .

  12. Hopefully an article on the Google situation is forthcoming? I am supremely interested in the reactions of real Chinese people to this move!

  13. They probably used a color photocopy machine, or scanner/color printer.

  14. Mo’ money, less money. – Notorious PRC.

  15. According to yahoo currency converter, 100 yuan is ~15USD which makes it a lot more believable.

    • The currency converter does not tell the whole story. In a country where many people make 600 yuan a month, this is a lot of money. Heck, I make A LOT more than that, and I wouldn’t burn a 100 yuan note.

      • It’s often pointless to burn money, but sometimes it is representative. Money is a pretty disgusting item – both literally and figuratively.

In this case it’s just idiots trying to look like they’re hotness, but I’ve burned money before, mostly out of hate for what money brings about, and never as a ‘filmed spectacle’ to show off.

        • Wow Rick, you’re so special and secretly rebellious.

          You’re my hero!

          • The purpose isn’t to prove any rebellion, but justify an action that’s represented here as occasionally having a deeper meaning.

You’re obviously an idiot, so I wont continue to indulge.

        • You have psycho problem, why blame everything on Money? They did not do anything?
And if you want to get rid of them, why not give to those people who have to sleep in a tent even during the freezing winter?

  16. Economically this is a good thing. Reduce the money supply and help reduce inflation!

  17. From the pictures it’s quite clear to see that the ash looks like paper ash. Banknotes are made from cotton fiber and not from paper.

  18. it is only mummy and a daddy’s money, I blame the parents for being up retards and then spoiling them rotten.

  19. I enjoyed the comments from mop

  20. Don’t have the balls to do this in public, like at the bar or bbq street, they’d get they ass whupped.

  21. That’s hawt.

I have never burned CHinese money before so I wouldn’t know the color. Can someone please burn a real 100RMB note and post a pic? No pictures no truth!

  22. Lighting your cigs with hamiltons or jacksons isn’t very impressive

  23. These idiots got no sense unless its fake 100 bills.

They might as well burn toilet paper or their underpants if they want to make a point.

  24. cooL action…but not for me to copy it

  25. Ha, try again with a 100 US/Euro/Pound note if the intent is to flaunt wealth.

    I use a 100RMB note as a bookmark. BFD.

  26. Try ask our popular magician 刘谦 for help and learn a trick or two from him.

  27. this boy need’s some sort of help!

  28. You’re supposed to use these bills to sniff cocaine. Roll them up like a straw and sniff away. Dumbasses.

  29. hahaha 100 yuan? its nothinhg, really… now 100 euros or at least 100 usd… i’d like to see that

  30. Completely bull dust!
people dont be fooled into believing!
Looking at the clothes they were wearing, do you think they are that filthy rich. By the way, rich people dont treat money like that and certainly dont show of their wealth that way.

If you have a good quality scanner and a laser printer, you could easily print as much RMB for burning as you like.

  31. I use one kuai lighter lol

  32. It’s China, it’s most likely counterfit note, nothing impressive, just a bunch of school yard douche bags

  33. You obviously don’t go to the bar!
