You need to get out of town more. You took every incident that happened to you and lumped it as a characteristics for all black men. It seems like famous Black men seem to date only Whites or other non-Blacks because that’s all the photos you see.

These are not “photos” i see. It’s a everyday reality. I live in a town where nearly all the black men are married to white women. When you see black women out in public or at schools with their children, none of them have husbands. I am divorced, and have been since I was 23. I have not had a boyfriend since and I’m considered to be pretty! I haven’t even kissed a man in ten years so I have really few experiences to speak of. I can only go by what I see. I think that black men find white women attractive, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I do think that it is a shame for black women though because it leaves them without a mate. So my point was that, I can relate to chinese men, or where the author of this article was coming from – whose situation is not as dire as that of black women.

After seeing these things, I lost my attraction to black men, and when I am out in public, I won’t look at them. I find that many other educated black women are the same (in my city). I do realize it is different in other parts of America.

The rest of us are learning and won’t tolerate anything. We would rather not have a husband because we have our own money and no longer need them. So whatever! :)

what.the.fuck. what percentage of Chinese men put white women on some type of “pedestal”? How much contact do you think “Chinese men” have with white women outside of (not to mention superficial) popular culture of the west that they see on the internet and t.v? (Hint: people like big titties blond women everywhere; I guess partly because big tities blond women are marketed as big titties blonds LMAO I don’t really like them) Where are you getting this information from?

Correct, white women, blonde, whatever are put on a pedestal as the ‘standard’ of beauty in many countries, but I have talked to a few chinese men online (where I chatted them up, because the anonymity I felt, would allow them to be honest and less embarrassed). Many said they felt left out and really would like to date white women (not necessarily blonde, but just white in general). I was researching for book (I’m an author) and was trying to pick someone from an Asian country as the male love interest as western men are starting to bore me a bit. After getting that feedback, I decided to use a japanese male hero in the book instead (I have since published it) . Out of dozens of men, when asked what type of woman other than Chinese that they would like to date, all of them said “white”.
This was not scientific, but I noticed that other Asian men (without knowing that a black woman was asking these questions) were far more open to women of all ethnicities as long as they were attractive. Especially Korean and Japanese. One Chinese man that I spoke to, who lived in Britain not only said that he LOVES and wishes he could date white women, proceeded to link me to videos of white women he felt were uber attractive and then went on a diatribe about how much he hated black people by comparison. When I made a comment about his attraction to white women being a fetish, he went ballistic, and said some horrible racist things. He then sent me an e mail approximately a year later, apologizing. I told him not to worry about it did not speak to him again. So that was the basis of my opinion.
