Teenagers doing naughty things in risky situations is always popular. Just look at American Pie! Recently, a post about a sex video featuring two Taiwanese high school students was posted to the popular and rambunctious (and male-dominated) Mop discussion forum, featuring several (censored) screenshots of the video, immediately sending the masses there on a hunt for the video online.
If you’re not already familiar, “-gate” is a common suffix attached to any incident to suggest some sort of scandal or controversy, not unlike the Watergate scandal.

From Mop:
Another “Balcony Gate” from the post-90s generation, with both the male and female being Taiwan high school students.
Balcony Gate, also known as Roof Gate, owing to a pair of high school students on the school’s roof, using a mobile phone to record a sex video. The male and female participants in “Balcony Gate” or “Roof Gate” are both post-90s generation high school students, the girl called Chen Yi, her appearance extremely sweet and cute. Probably because of being nervous, the girl in the Roof Gate Incident video does not appear to be enjoying herself much. However, the girl is still quite pretty, and tender. Throughout [the video], only the male can be heard, with the male saying he wants to put [the video] on the internet.
Comments from Mop:
逗妇乳和灰太狼:
High school students these days, there is nothing that can be said [about them]! But I still want to ask, where is the video?
帅不过是表面:
I admit I am excited!!! [This netizen used the pun 鸡动 for 激动, both jīdòng, which means his "cock moved"].
一直不怎样:
I truly don’t understand why so many “-gate” incidents have emerged lately. What more, they are all of these not-yet-even-20 young people…sigh, I truly don’t get this world.
d9space:
Must fuck an entire boat of post-90s generation.
楼主是裸男:
Fuck, may I bother the lou zhu to please add the word “Taiwan” in front of “post-90s generation”, okay?
hansen1117:
Finding a virgin these days, is already very difficult even when looking in primary/elementary schools.
这一生都只喂你:
Seen it a long time ago…I just want to say…dammit…can you guys use a high resolution mobile phone to film? Those low-resolution ones, is like having it censored with mosaics~~~fuck.
andygeliguo:
Speechless, following Shou Shou, there have been too much of this kind of thing.
王八腚:
That there are this many “-gates” is not because of [society/youth] becoming more open/liberal, but because mobile phones can now take photos.
lv_xiang:
Anytime I see something with “-gate”, I must leave 17745664@qq.com.
秋之一叶:
~~~~Sigh~~seen it already~~truly numb now.
Make your own “-gates”. All you need is… chinaSMACK personals.
