Lyrics:

我们又来了
We’re back
非常非常非常fresh
Extremely extremely extremely fresh
大家都举手来
Everyone put up your hands
准备好了吗
Are you ready?

Chorus:
每到黎明听着你的声音来把我叫醒
Every morning I wake up to your voices
对这城市我是怀着十分激动的心情
I’m full of excitement towards this city
北京的灵魂氛围难以用语言来表达
Beijing’s spirit and atmosphere is difficult to describe in words
我会永远记得你请你别把我忘记呀
I will always remember you, please don’t forget me

羊肉串是我老伙伴儿
Yangrouchuanr [lamb skewer/kebab] is my old companion
我只天天跟美女聊天儿
I chat with beautiful women every day
北京烤鸭再来一块儿
Peking Duck, let’s have one more piece
特别喜欢的是北京话儿
I especially like the Beijing dialect/accent

朝阳区数你最牛比
Chaoyang District, you are the most niubi
海淀区我想更懂你
Haidian District, I want to learn more about you
我们之间的大秘密
The big secret between us
我觉得你倍了不起
I think you are so amazing

Chorus

每天在大学上上课
Every day attending class in the university
不管去哪骑自行车
Riding bicycles no matter where I go
燕京啤酒是忒好喝
Yanjing Beer is the best
在这的日子很快乐
My life here is very happy

在后海我玩得很high
At Houhai, I have a lot of fun
在工体我们都在fly
At the Beijing Workers Stadium we are all flying
靓妹认为我非常帅
Pretty girls think I am extremely handsome
我真是舍不得离开
I really can’t bear to leave

Chorus

一二三环不管什么地方
First, second, third ring, no matter where you are
一块唱这首歌 (大省点儿)
Let’s all sing this song (Louder)
四五六环不管什么地方
Fourth, fifth, sixth ring, no matter where you are
一块唱这着歌 (我听不见)
Let’s all sing this song
x2

Chorus

网易北京市网友:

Hehe, I’d like to see, what would fenqing say if a Chinese person were to wave around another country’s flag?

网易山东省济南市网友:

With food, drink, and girls but without having to worry about housing prices, stock prices, or food prices, of course they’d be feel things are great.

网易北京市网友:

A good song, much better than those overly sentimental songs coming out of the music industry these days.

网易浙江省湖州市网友:

[Their] Chinese is very good, with a Beijing accent. I must learn from you guys, I too must learn and speak good English!

网易重庆市网友:

Don’t raise the Chinese flag as you please! There’s a difference from your nation/country! We normally only raise it when resisting forced demolitions! Raising this flag doesn’t mean you guys are very Chinese!

网易河北省保定市网友:

I’ve discovered that laowai don’t know where to put their hands.

Comments from Youku:

没缝的蛋:

Is China’s flag something you can just play around with?

bnc9595:

It’s really quite good.

xiangye项晔:

CCTV broadcasted this today, I came online to find the video, it’s not bad, jia you!

故园情0:

Niu, China, everyone come learn Chinese.

琳nana:

[Their] putonghua truly is good, more proper than many Chinese people, haha. The song is also very nice. Support!

abc爱琴海abc:

赞You guys can sing very well, but can you guys not be so handsome? 赞赞

莫须有的叉叉:

Very cute/adorable. The lyrics were very adorable. The tune was very adorable. The young guys were very adorable. Everything was very adorable.

颠堂路13号:

They’re studying music production, right? The MV [music video] and music production were all very good. Listen carefully to the musical elements they used, they were very good, probably made by experts.

portialee1983:

I…I actually understood [what they are saying], hahahaha… Their Chinese pronunciation is very good.

1153513210:

I wish all laowai could speak Chinese! In the future, Chinese will be an international common language/universal language…

What do you think?

What? Where’s the propaganda part about the standard of living steadily increasing? At least they got the flag waving part right; the pandering is all correct except for the lack of panda-pandering.

    • http://candosino.wordpress.com terroir

Ah.. I got it now: laowai coming to China and engaging in the act of ingratiating themselves to do business/achieve a higher social status than from where they are from/fit in harmoniously with Chinese culture is called – PANDA-ERING

      • http://candosino.wordpress.com terroir

Mhher, on second thought, “panda-ering” sounds like some new tribal piercing; I just I’m not right-wing enough to come up with catching sarcastic buzzwords.

        “Panda-pandering” it is, then.

      • ImmortalTechnique

Imagine if they weren’t treated like privileged snowflakes just because they were white. Check out Tubbs in the back, holding out for whatever name-recognition he can get, maybe he’ll finally score scraps from the captain’s table!

        • 老外

Although I detest man-whoring, drinking and the like — if they’re happy in China, let them be. If someone can only be successful in China, why deride them? I think everyone deserves to be happy, and live in a country that makes them feel good.

I don’t give a shit about being a patriot or anything — if you’re happy in China, more power to you! If you can only make it in one country, go for it. It doesn’t make you a sellout — you’re only doing what makes you happy.

Personally, I love China very much. The culture, the food, and the people. I haven’t been in China for a few months, and I cannot return until next year due to my job. Every chance I get I go to China because it makes me happy, and I’ve considered moving there permanently. I’ve had enough experience to know the ins and outs of the country, and I just can’t stop thinking of the Middle Kingdom.

Despite being successful in America, I’m not happy here. I’d rather be a lowly English teacher in China. If being in a different country makes you happy, go for it. Don’t let anyone chew you out just because you’re doing what makes you happy and/or successful. Life isn’t measured by how well you can do in your own country.

          • Englebert

I’m a lowly English teacher in China, and I’ll swap jobs with you if you want, right now.

          • 老外

            Englebert,

Believe me, if I could, I would do it in a heartbeat. :/

        • http://candosino.wordpress.com terroir

Maybe these guys are really happy to be rapping the merits of about another country, and furthermore maybe they honestly mean it deep down in that dark metaphorical heart of ours. Maybe they intestinal worms from eating all that chuanr. Maybe’s.

The idea of panda-pandering is that there’s no other option for a laowai to take. From the oft-maligned non-Melanie Grittith banging portion of “Miami Vice” standing in the back all the way to Rupert Murdoch, every laowai can only panda-pander in China except in cases where immediately followed by a “-SMACK”!.

And look at Rupert Murdoch: he got a new wife out of the deal.

          • Eskil

Though judging from many American liberals I have met when in business in the US, being proud of one’s own country seems to be a gigantic taboo and possible sign of mental illness.

So perhaps cheering for another country is more socially acceptable?

Either way, I don’t really care. I’m mostly impressed with the guys’ pronunciation.

I didn’t think it possible, but that video was actually more annoying then I originally thought….

So, has chinaSmack finally started to scrape the bottom of the sensational/ridiculous barrel yet or are we all in for another week of “foreigners” (really respectful name eh?) doing stupid shit to ingratiate themselves for a bit of chinese publicity?

Seriously…. The only reason that African guy wasn’t on CCTV is that chinese people are too frigging racist to ever accept it.

I’d almost say that these wannabes are trying to ironic, but that would make me a hipster douchebag….

Anything on the bombing of government offices? You know, something actually worth discussing??

      • bomber

Agreed. These days its all bullshit news. Non-news. CH is reporting on interesting shit, but they are blocked. Dawei, too.

I can’t believe there hasn’t been anything on the bombings.

        • anon

Why is it so annoying? Because these people seem to like something that you don’t, or seem to like something that is somehow related to something you don’t? You know, enjoying a city (eating, boozing, flirting) that’s within a country that has certain things disagreeable to you?

Far be it that these guys take their interest in China and do something creative with it, rather than spend their time trolling a blog with a chip on their shoulder looking and begging for an excuse to talk shit. For example, you know about the bombing of government offices, because there are tons of other sites already covering them. Why aren’t you already discussing that story on those sites instead of bitching like a self-entitled princess here? “No, I want to play in THIS sandbox!”

I don’t think any of these guys in the past few posts save perhaps the African guy and British guy were out to do stupid shit to ingratiate themselves for Chinese publicity. The French guys, as far as we know (unless they orchestrated a false story of running from the chengguan), were just having fun engaging in what amounts to simple cultural exchange. These guys, they’re the stereotypical study abroad story, some young guys living it up having and adventure and a blast in a foreign land. The African? Are you sure he wasn’t on CCTV? Or did you just assume because it was an excuses to take another swipe against Chinese people as being racist? The British guy? We have no idea what that really was about, whether or not it was related to the French Crepe guys, whether it was his idea or someone else’s idea, and ultimately, who the fuck cares if he had some fun while he was at it? Who did he hurt? Your desire that foreigners not have fun and take themselves too seriously in China?

This website has always been a grab bag of serious and not-remotely-serious stories. Go back and look over the mix every week of every month of every year. It’s always the same random mix. It’s one thing to not like that mix, and it’s another to not like it but repeatedly subject yourself to it whining the entire way. Bottom line is that both Feichang Fresh and chinaSMACK have done things that has gotten the attention and sentiments of a ton of people.

          What have you done?

          • http://encyclopediadramatica.com/China Elijah

Wow… thank God there’s a holier than thou tool…. I was wondering how long you’d take to start trolling.

Slowly and gently with a liberal application of KY, slide the two by four out of your sphincter, then you can unclench and stop squinting. THENNNNNNN if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to step back from your little preaching box and see reality as it is.

How many people are actually commenting on how wonderful and insightful the last bunch of articles have been? How many of the last bunch of articles have been about someone who will never be chinese trying to act chinese to win chinese approval?

As for what I’ve done, I’ve published an online article, sealed a 6 month contract worth $160,000USD in profit for me, started importing French wine, Abolone, sea cucumber and shrimp as part of another high level deal and that’s all in the last week.

What have you done? ……. What an immature and silly question, you couldn’t come up with something else?

            [Note from Fauna: Irony]

          • http://encyclopediadramatica.com/China Elijah

Not sure I understand if you’re saying I wrote a book or Anon did, especially seeing as how his 1 comment was as long as both my comments put together.

Taiwan is a de facto sovereign country, let’s not get into a rehash.

Fauna doesn’t seem to be interested in comments unless they’re stupid racism that degrades everyone and serves only to fuel the cycle of hate, blatant fengqing trolling or china-apologists… I suppose no one else noticed that trend?

If the commenting standards weren’t so low, then perhaps there could actually be something worthwhile here instead of the same tired group of people playing roles.

Luckily for me, I have quite the good life outside of one-sided arguments.

  • Kning

Getting pretty tired of all this “Foreigners sing a song in Chinese” , “Foreigner cooks Chinese food”, “Foreigner ties his own shoelaces in China” bullshit.

Only the naive and ignorant Chinese masses think this is special. It goes to show how far China’s head is STILL stuck up its ass. Opium wars, Japanese massacres, years of decay under communist rule, and the Chinese are STILL suckers for flattery. The only reason this makes the news, is because the average Chinese pops an instant boner when he hears/sees a foreigner ‘admire’ his country by doing it the honour of, for example, learning the language. And while China is busy basking in the glory of the fact that modern, western countries now actually want something that China has, I’ll just sit here and wait until history repeats itself.

Shit like this would never make the news pretty much anywhere else in the world. If a bunch of Chinese kids started singing English songs in the US, who would give a fuck?

    • anon

I imagine you’d be saying the same thing seeing the same shit in Japan and Korea, right? You clearly don’t have much experience anywhere else in the world yet are arrogant enough to make assumptions that are patently false had you had such experience. Countries like the US that were built upon multicultural immigration certainly no longer find it novel when an identifiable foreigner sings praises of it. In this regard, China (as well as most of the rest of the world) is pretty different and these things remain novel. And really, just about everywhere you’ll have natives being impressed by a foreigner who bothers to learn their language. It is a obnoxiously ethnocentric notion that doing so as a guest in another person’s country is somehow “doing them an honor”.

Get your head out of your ass.

      • Kning

Great speech about assumptions there. I’m sure you noticed you are full of them? Whatever. China is different because of standard Asian xenophobia, yes. But whitey isn’t novel because he is white. They have televisions too, you know. Plus a city like Shanghai is full of go-lucky foreigners. Whitey is novel because their presence in China has shifted from being there to impose something, to being there to learn something. That plays to the Chinese arrogance. If you’d take off your China-goggles you’d see that there is a lot more to it other than just a healthy respect for a foreigner learning the language. That is just one thing. If you’d ever been applauded for using chopsticks properly, you’d understand. Alas, I think your knowledge of China comes mostly from what you want it to be.

        [Note from Fauna: Irony]

    • Raphael

      this so much.

also, i don’t think that chinese people get titillated at the idea of whitey expressing even the most fleeting interest in their culture because their head is “stuck up their ass”, but because they were on the receiving end of utter pwnage for over a century. it comes from an inferiority complex, not a naive and misplaced sense of pride.

      • Kning

Go read up on Chinese history, then come back.

The Chinese have always felt they were the most important country and people on earth. That sense of entitlement has never brought them anything but misery, yet they still cling to it.

        • rudiooo

“The Chinese have always felt they were the most important country and people on earth”

how is that possible.. they never looked in the mirror?

        • http://thecapitalinthenorth.blogspot.com jixiang

Oh and you think other peoples haven’t felt exactly the same way about themselves throughout history? The Japanese, the Europeans or the Muslims? Why don’t you go and read up about world history a second?

          • http://www.foarp.blogspot.com FOARP

Yeah, and it always worked out great for all concerned . . . .

          • http://thecapitalinthenorth.blogspot.com jixiang

It never worked out well for the victims of such cultural and/or racial arrogance, such as the millions and millions of natives of the Americas and Oceania who were slaughtered or horribly oppressed by the European settlers who believed their superior religion and culture entitled them to do so, or for the infidels who got in the way of Muslim invaders. As for those who carry such an attitude of superiority, it brings them ill when they cling to it in the face of clearly superior competitors, and refuse to learn from them. The Chinese and many others have been through this phase during colonialism. For Westerners who still believe in their own culture’s superiority, the same phase is going to arrive all too soon.

          • Boris

Jixiang -Westerners believe in their culture’s superiority? Are you joking? Only developing countries like China believe that the West is superior. What do you think China is replacing its culture with? China is developing an extreme form of capitalism -not sure how good or bad that is just yet.

          • http://www.foarp.blogspot.com FOARP

“It never worked out well for the victims of such cultural and/or racial arrogance”

Which was, believe it or not, my point. Nowadays imperialism is a dead letter in my home country, not so in others.

I am the lead singer and person who created this video.

To be honest, I just can’t understand how much hate many of you guys have to spread. How is this selling out or pandering?

I was having a good time in Beijing with a few friends. So we decided to write a Chinese rap song, throw in a few 儿s here and there to make it sound more like Beijing and uploaded it on the internet. None of us expected the media attention, which will only last a few days anyway.

I think it’s extremely sad to see people shitting all over this. Yes, the song is very much pro-China, but keep in mind what we’re praising are local customs, the warmhearted people, and a city that is struggling to assume its role as not only the actual but also artistic and cultural capital of a country governed by a very much culture-manipulating system, that has so much to offer if you look behind the propaganda facade.

    • Boris

You love China? Great! Loads of people love China here, too. But this is Chinasmack. People are here for crack and sodomy, not for their grandma’s homemade gingerbreadmen…

      • Billman

Really? All here for crack and sodomy? It’s true, the bad and seedy and sensationalist news is interesting and this is one of the few English language outlets for it, but it is nice to get some more lighthearted stories from time to time. Cheer up brother, enjoy life a little more. If you’re living in China, why are you only interested in the bad news about this place? I admit, I find it a little satisfying to compare some of the dark things that happen to my own homeland, but it’s important to appreciate the fun and the good along with the bad.

      • Mark

dont worry its just the internet.. haters gonna hate, people hide behind their fucking keyboard always..

i personally found the song a bit stupid but it s fun

    • McCurry

First of all, your singing and Chinese were amazing in the video (in Chinese Standard), but I can see where they hate comes from:

      1. People assume you’re fake, because most laowais got a lot of issues with Beijing, and you were over the top PRO-China
      2. You’re waving the Chinese flag that most Chinese won’t even touch, come on dude, you don’t love this country that much. Very sell out-ish/fake
      3. You appear on CCTV, the hated proganda machine, probably not your intention, but they utilized your PRO-China ways for their agenda (everybody loves China!)
      4. You got the special treatment because you’re white, if a Chinese did this with better video and singing, he probably gets called 五毛党

      • Going going gone

Some men will go to any lengths for pussy

    • Bruce

      An Dong,

I will resist undue inflection to the best of my abilities. What did you discover “behind the propaganda facade”? Judging by your product: duck, Yanjing beer, and Houhai. Is this really the best you can do to indicate how much Beijing has to offer? Is it not merely superficial bullshit anyone who has spent a day in the city, and perhaps even someone who hasn’t, could refer to? Holding the Lu Zhu or Madoufu up to the camera was just too messy, I suppose. Thing is, there’s nothing local about what you’ve done.

Likewise, the flag-waving idiocy which plagues the entire video suggests that you are not, in fact, praising local customs. Get a better fucking excuse.

Glad you had a good time in Beijing. But you shouldn’t be surprised at receiving retribution after choosing to put your shit on the internet. It’s not hate to say that you suck. Now have some pork lung.

      Have a nice day.

      • 李渊

        wow, don’t be so uptight.

these guys are obviously just having fun and living it up in beijing. they spent some time making a music video instead of sitting around playing x-box or getting smashed. 安东, i support you!

ok they could have sung about less corny / obvious things. they didn’t. does that really matter?

maybe you could have a try yourself and make a better song.

all the stuff that happens with CCTV is after they made it and out of their hands. i personally don’t believe that’s why they made it. and the stuff about being fake… fake what? fake fun? fake hanging out with your friends and singing some goofy stuff in a foreign language?

i don’t doubt the fact that they like beijing and china. that’s not hard to believe… i’m sure they also really like yanjing beer and lamb skewers.

        me too!

like it or don’t like it, i say just don’t take it too seriously… no need to be so harsh to the guys.

anyway, i got the tune stuck in my head.

        • McCurry

people are hating because of they just end up being ‘Government Proganda Tools’, which probably aren’t their intention.

but the flag waving was pretty excessive in my oponion

          • anon

People hating China also end up being government propaganda tools, used as examples of foreign hostility to bolster nationalist indignation and unity. What now?

The haters here are more or less reacting to their own prejudices by hating on a group of kids who had the fairly innocuous idea of making a decent amateur music video celebrating the good times and feelings they have towards a fucking city. In the realm of rap songs, that’s pretty fucking standard fare. All they need are some booty-shaking hoes and some sort of hand sign for Beijing.

          • Bruce

And wearing a vest without an undershirt of some sort? Just what level of excess does that reach?

“ok they could have sung about less corny / obvious things. they didn’t. does that really matter?”

            It does.

“maybe you could have a try yourself and make a better song.”

(looks up while loading a giant leather phallus on a cart)…eh? That’s not a bad idea, but China’s proper genre is comedy, not lyric.

I’m sure you anticipated people who will disagree or deride you for what you’ve made and put forth into public view, just don’t let them get to you. Haters are always disproportionately loud.

      • B-real

Says the pander hugger to the next. These guys have way more videos that profess their fond love of China. To Antoine, go home and shoot a fun video of your home, put bitches while you at it cuz this video was borderline gay, and it promotes homosexuality, alcoholism and an unhealthy life style that CCTV was to blind to see.

FYI Houhai is surrounded by paid pretty women to get you to spend money at and inflated foreigners prices. Tell 1 of your Chinese friends to walk in and order from the Chinese Menu, bet you the beer is far more Cheaper than what you pay. Continue to panda hug and get ripped off by the country you have adopted and unconditionally loved ever since your discovered that you can get unsolicited attention.

My personal experience is only a chip of what the rest of the world can attest to. My bitterness strings from 30 years before I even thought of coming to China. If you were a true follower of mine, you would know im black, I was once homeless, I served, I studied, I failed, I came to china with a up and coming company, Gov + racism causing that to slowly fail, got married that failed and just 2 years back I was told I only have 5 more years to go before my heart probably needs to be replaced. Im way past bitter my friend.

You gotta do better to offend me and defend the acts of panda huggers. They are a disgrace to their culture and making a mockery of mine.

    • Cool Matt

Wait. Loving the city/country is BEHIND the propaganda facade? I thought that WAS the propaganda facade.

I know what you mean by “loving Beijing.” The people, the culture…fair enough. Problem is it can get tricky when those “culture manipulators” aka an oppressive government makes itself synonymous with everything China and involves itself with practically every aspect of Chinese life.

Even though you try to separate yourself from that aspect of Beijing, the fact of the matter is, it’s very difficult to because that is a huge part of Beijing too. That leads people to wonder how you can love such a place so much that you can sing about it knowing all the shit (abuse and so on) that goes on here.

      • Cool Matt

Nevermind. Just read your comment wayyyyy below. Good job!

    • http://candosino.wordpress.com terroir

Son, having encountered a bit of internet fame myself, please allow me to give you a few words of advice:

      1) When you go on your big international tour, be sure that the flag you are waving matches the country in which you are actually in. When in doubt, look around and see if the flag you are holding matches the sea of miniture flags that your audience is holding.

      2) Absolutely under no circumstances you must not give this responsibility of sorting out of the correct “flag-to-patriotism” stirring to Tubbs in the back.

      3) Don’t wear clothes with pockets or else you may inadvertinately find your self-expression be muffled somewhat should your Millenium Falcon hands require a cave in an asteroid for emergency docking, eg the end of a sentence before the start of the next chorus… how does it go again? What what fresh?

      4) Your endorsement of Yanjing as the “best” will cause disharmony amongst the common who are disorganized in their loyalty to their refreshing beverage of choice. Be sure next time to take the endorsement money but also add a quick “and the purchase of other Chinese brands may cause the fulfilment of happiness fortune as well”. (quick hint: Qingdao is the Tommy Hillfinger to your Yanjing’s GAP, playa)

      5) Quit school, it’s holding you back. You already have a degree in “I love China!” and “All the pretty ladies in the house say YEAH!” so you’re all set.

      • http://candosino.wordpress.com terroir

I only wish you the best of success, so therefore I am offering a few suggesstions for songs to be included on your next rap album:

“Lei Feng Says What What, You Say What What”
        “Imperialists Ain’t Shit”
“Drop it Like it is Harmoniously and Universally Luke-warm”
        “Fun tha Police”
“Fight the Power (of Foreign Capitalist Dogs)”
        “Nuttin But a G(overnmentally-Approved) Thang”
“Mama Said to Knock You Out, and Mama Mentioned You Specifically by Name, Japan”
“Parents Just Don’t Understand (I’m being as filial as I can!)”
“Bust A Move (An Ode to Ding Houses)”
“Lose Yourself (Ballad of the Lonely Laowai in China)”

        and,

“As a black man I hope white people and any other future attempts from other cultures keep rapping so that it can be deemed not cool”

One of the best rappers in the world is Eminem. He ain’t black. Why you gotta have hate? Rap is not black music. It’s music you racist SB.

      • B-real

You totally missed my point and then validated it. Yes Eminem mastered art form socially designated and dominated by blacks. I’m an avid hater of hip hop and everything that it represent in today’s present form. Early Eminem had his time as gimmick, and he is still a highly respected artist in the genre as it stands today. But you can’t call rap music. I don’t consider it music, never did when I liked it and never will. But they have to categorize it as such. Rappers are not musicians in a traditional manner and most never will be. Again I admired what “Marshal Mathers” brought to the table of hip hop but he and few other greats set new standard that today’s form of hip hop is retarded regressed back to the 90s and further puts a negative stigma to the African American community that my family and many others fought so long and hard to disseminate.

My point was not only do blacks think its cool to be rapper but now the whole world has embraced and bastardized the art form. These people in the video above and the other “wanna bees” all over the world need to pick up a real skill and have fun with that because on this side of the keyboard and screen we are all cringing in disappointment. At least Weird Al is funny with his all out attempt mock it (some what funny).

To complete my so called racist rant in the voice of uncle Ruckus from Boondocks “yawl can keep yo chubby goofy looking white boys dancin like baboons and jungle bunnies, speaking dat ching chang wang bullshit, what eva ya selling I aint buyin it cuz it stank and wreaks of that cheap imitation coon music ya wanna be niggas!!!”

True, as others have said, probably should’ve left out all the flag-waving stuff…that’s just asking for it from the peanut gallery. And yeah, as others have also said, props on the languages skills.

  • Alex

The fact of the matter is: Chinese worship us white people.. i am white and ever since coming to this country i have been treated like a king.. by all these cheap chinese girls who all they look on is the colour of my skin.. yesterday i was even in sanlitun and 90% of the couples i see were white guys with chinese girls running behind them.. even saw this big fat guy with a chinese girl half his size plus skinnier holding his hands.. now when chinese see white they go crazy so thats why a video like this will always draw attention.. because its a bunch of white guys, if it was any other they wont get notice.. honestly my advice to all you chinese girls is take your mind out of the gutter and start to look more on the color of a guys skin… Why i talk like this because i have many friends from different cultures and we all walk and hang out together and my experience here for the past 2 yrs.. is just plain and simple easy going.. if i decide to go to the club even on a sunday night i can pick up a pretty chinese girl all because i am white .. your minds are so dulll

    • http://www.a@a.com The other guy

      I know what you mean.
Being a white male in China is like eating at a buffet without a line. The only question being how often you choose to tap into this endless well of debauchery. The women here are like a boundless field of crops just ready to be harvested. All ripe and juicy – and sometimes even some that AREN’T ripe.
      Amirite? ;)

Here in China I have the equivalent of a 6 figure salary back at home and have no college degree. I spend my time at work cruising the internet posting on online forums and when it’s time to call it a day, I roll home in my benz or my jag , depending on which one I feel like riding in.
When I go to clubs I can go home with any girl I want – even if their boyfriend is around. That is if I didn’t bring along one of my 3 girlfriends who routinely sit at home all day waiting for me to call them. I openly flaunt my infidelities, but it makes no difference since they think I’m the best that they can do.
When I go out to eat at a restaurant I call a waitress over to my table and she’ll come serve me pronto, even if she’s in the middle of taking someone else’s order. If she’s lucky I’ll tip her out back by letting her suck my wang.

When I walk the streets, I never have to move out of anyone’s way. In fact, you’ll routinely see a line of people behind me hoping I’ll pave a way for them. I can talk to people however I want to here and they hang their heads down and take it like a foal without a mother.
I’m treated like a god here.

This is fact because I said it on the internet. It’s true until you can prove me wrong.

      • Alex

chinese girls are dumb to us white men lol.. i feel so much as a king here sometime.. its too easy to get these girls honestly.. these days i just try to educate them some more because honestly they are flirting with stupidity…

        • scarlet (aka donscarletti)

That guy was being sarcastic, which is regretable because the people he was ripping on don’t understand it.

White guys just are something that appeals to a minority of Chinese girls. It’s a big enough minority so if you are looking, you can have something to take home a few times a week but generally, if you see one you like it is quite rare that she digs you, which is what you want to be doing if you are a stud. White guys are like giggalos, just a pawn as part of someone else’s sexual fetish, just waiting for another client to call them.

  • http://www.antoineshapiro.com 安东

Thanks to everyone who understands how this was just a casual, fun thing and laughs the cheesiness off. The whole point was to be cheesy, name clichee things and clearly exaggerate by waving the flag. I don’t even love my own country enough to wave around a flag. Doing so with the Chinese flag obviously doesn’t mean I support everything this government does.

We shot this quirky over the top video to make our totally China-unrelated friends back home smile, not to go fame-scouting on CCTV. As a Chinese Studies major I am very well aware that there are more local things than Roast Duck and Gongti.

As for the video, I thought it was clearly it was meant all in good fun. Nothing wrong with guests saluting their hosts in a friendly way. There is lots to love about China, as these guys have discovered.
