Actually, cS isn’t getting paid anything for featuring these videos. Someone showed us the videos and introduced us to Jason, the director. We felt they were cute and, more importantly, relevant for a bridge-blog like cS. So we decided to post them.

There has always been content on cS that some part of our audience doesn’t appreciate but another part does. Don’t be mean.

We already have ads about Chinese & European companies in our ad slots. Something has to pay for everything that goes into keeping this site up.

The Disqus commenting system was because we wanted to address complaints and provide functionality that our commenters wanted. Disqus is hardly necessary to generate “trackable” traffic. Do you really think sites without Disqus can’t track their traffic? Or advertisers can’t track your traffic through much simpler methods than going through a third-party commenting system like Disqus? The very nature of how the internet works already makes your traffic trackable.

You seem to think that we are the same because of the time we spend on here. I disagree. The word “troll” by it’s nature and history is a disagreeable thing.
