      Yea, it’s the ridiculous nature of a “dance competition” by civil servants. Imagine, the Internal Revenue Agency (US) or the CRA (Canada) folks pulled one of these. 1. there’ll be lawsuits, worker’s complaints, and people are going to get fired. 2. the public will be outraged (for obvious reasons) and slightly disturbed, because the societal mental image of an accountant is usually a middle-aged fat guy with thick and dorky glasses. 3. you can bet our women won’t look remotely as good as these ones, even though I am not at all saying that these shreks look good.

      My school has several every year, and lots of shops around town (especially the hair dressers) do organized dances and marches. What’s the deal?

    Seriously, I have no idea how people’s minds in this country works sometimes. There is nothing sexist about a bunch of men ogeling a group of women dancing on a stage for their amusement in skimpy outfits. Nothing at all.

        I don’t think I’ve ever seen a chinese girl with six pack abs unless she was a profesional fitness trainer or athlete. I’d say your standard Chinese build was given to leaness, not muscularity. Sorry, just my observation, more power to you if you have been partying with hard bodied Chinese girls :)

    Ha ha what an honour for women! Today is “women’s day” but instead of celebrating women’s contributions to society and equality in the workplace. . in China they have them dress up in scanty red outfits and put on a good show for the ol’ boys.

      There aren’t women’s rights in China. Good ol’ 三八‘s celebrated 3/8 by getting a half day off from work and then hit the mall for a little shopping. Int. Women’s day isn’t a day to recognize women’s equality regarding independence, reproductive rights, divorce and family issues.

      Women are expected to do “半边天“ and do half the work, and are supposed to be lauded for it while they demand that a prospective husband buy them a house and car?

      For once, dudes complaining that they should get the day off too are completely correct.

    A woman should look fat and healthy. It shows her man is taking good care of her and that’s she’s eating well. A skinny emanciated woman either has self esteem issues or isn’t eating very well.

    I think all of the women look beautiful. The men making fun of these women have standards that are well more than they deserve.

            there’s some truth in that @mr. weiner. i’ve heard… now this is just a rumor… that women who are not obese but rather a healthy size tend to have tighter, warmer wetter vaginas. I’m not a man so I have no basis for comparison. I know it’s gross to think about, but I was talking to someone once who had thing for “thick” women and he said skinny women were bony down there too.

            Umm. I think that last statement might have hardened Mr Weiner’s stance on this issue.

            I’ve never heard of a bony vagina though. Maybe smaller hips would bring the pelvic arch closer at the top of the Vagina, that thing can get in the way, and apply some unwanted less soft pressure.

          @ guy, indeed they are chubby chasers. I know damned well that I’m chubby but people (in the USA where I live) refer to me as beautiful. No one has to flatter me or are forced to so that’s why I assume weight doesn’t matter. In fact, my butt is naturally round,and in the U.S., big butts are all the rage. I hate my stomach and my boobs because I have a DD cup (but I want breast reduction to a B cup, as that would be perfect). while i complain about these things, men in the u.s. compliment them. So men can be chubby chasers. That’s why it surprises me that these women who are all quite small to my american eyes, are being called fat. If this is fat, you would probably shriek in terror when you see the average american woman who is a size 12. which i think is like a size 42 in Europe.

            Hey I wasn’t hating on bigger women. I like all types of women, but some of these women are pretty big for Chinese ladies. This has to do with genetics to a certain extent. Chinese women who look as big as some of these women are not healthy, where as a Samoan lady who is much bigger looks a-lot healthier. That is why moving the standards of obesity for Asians has been proposed, because they have higher rates of illnesses related to obesity while still being in the overweight category for their height. You may be bigger than these ladies, but you may also be healthier and it shows.

            I like women in all sizes and colors and shapes. Unfortunately they don’t always like me.

      This condition should be now be recognized everywhere as an intermediate stage in woman’s struggle from emaciated to emancipated.
