From Sina Weibo:
@女权之声: My Vagina says… — If your vagina could talk, what would she say? “I want respect!” “I want to be heard; to be seen; to be recognized!” “Don’t treat me like a sensitive word!” …We want to talk about our vagina, to rediscover the power within our bodies and spirit. Via the Beijing Foreign Studies University Gender Activism Club.
My vagina says: Don’t treat me like a sensitive word!
My vagina says: Don’t disturb unless you are sincere.
My vagina says: She wants to be heard; to be seen; to be recognized!
My vagina says: Please don’t use love as an excuse…
My vagina says: I want freedom.
My vagina says: Virginity is bullshit!
My vagina says: Desires happiness without definition or restraint.
My vagina says: I’ll let whoever I want inside.
My vagina says: I can be coquettish but you cannot harass.
My vagina says: Understand myself, education is very important.
My vagina says: Shameful/embarrassed, stop it!!
My vagina says: I want respect!
My vagina says: I want, I really want!
My vagina says: She only listens to me!
Comments on Sina Weibo:
Looks like women’s rights [female empowerment] still has a long road in China.
WHAT IS THIS?
I support fighting for female empowerment, but there should be a more elegant way to express it.
As expected, they are all ugly.
May I ask who is prepared to marry these feminists?
The quality of girls at Beijing Foreign Studies University can’t have been reduced to this level, has it…? Seeing their faces, I’ve lost all interest in their vaginas…
Wouldn’t having an orgasm be what they want the most?
What does female empowerment have to do with their vaginas?!
Their vaginas can also talk.
Women view their body from their own eyes and not from men’s eyes, that’s all they are doing, I do see anything extreme about it. Perhaps this student/person [referring to another commenter] also thinks the vagina is something that is filthy and taboo, that women cannot have their own ideas about their body, nor should they talk about sex openly. People of the Heavenly Kingdom love showing off the male reproductive organ, with parents showing off a baby boy’s penis everywhere, as if the penis is glorious while the vagina is shameful.
This method will not make people truly respect women, and it has nothing to do with female empowerment, gender equality, etc.
What do you think?
