On the list, the newly-appointed Cai Sanshe would be a member of the Longhai City Party Committee and day-to-day Deputy Mayor, while Li Shijun would be the Deputy Mayor. This reporter saw that Li Shijun was from Jiangsu province Nantong city, born 1987, is 27 years old this year, had graduated with a doctorate in Biology from the College of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University, joined the Chinese Communist Party in 2006 December, and began working in 2014 August. As it is understood, Li Shijun is was recruited to Longhai city under Fujian province’s “Recommended Student Policy” [a government policy that recruits top students from top universities for government assignments], and is presently in charge of the science and technology field, with a term of two years.
