39,000 Chinese Nationals Awaiting Deportation From America
American immigration workers have said recently that approximately 39,000 Chinese citizens have violated American immigration law, including 900 violent offenders, and that US authorities are waiting for China to stop dragging its heals and provide their citizen IDs so they can be deported. Some Chinese immigrants have even had their deportation notice for over ten years, with their numbers ever increasing. One puzzled netizen asked why the immigrants didn’t choose Russia instead, whilst another said that America probably suspects China is preparing to annex it by such methods.

why do they need their Chinese ID to deport them? Do deported mexicans need a Mexican ID card? Anyways, they are lucky . they won’t have to pay taxes in USA anymore ..most other US citizens and residents will have to pay tax to USA no matter where they live in the world. . fucking sucks!

This is absolutely not true. If you are an American Expat you are exempt for the first $103,000 you earn overseas. If you earn more than that and paid taxes to your host country (like in China) you also pay a much lower rate on that.

Yes there is usually an exemption on base salary up to a certain amount. . however your capital gains on the sale of your home abroad are not exempt, any dividends and capital gains in your investments and expat retirement accounts are not tax exempt in USA. .you have to file taxes every year and report all your foreign bank accounts. . You are expected to do this even if you were just born in USA by accident and left as a baby and never returned to USA. Only country that taxes based on citizenship and not residency . .thus the USA tax system is overreaching and US citizenship is WAY overrated.

U.S. citizenship isn’t overrated, but the worldwide tax system is overreaching.

so far only US and Eritrea are overreaching because they try to do citizenship based taxation, regardless of where you reside in the world. The US especially is able to enforce it because they can and have threatened all international banks to give them banking info on any US linked depositors OR the bank would face huge financial penalties on all USD related transactions. Since the US dollar is still the world trade currency it would destroy the banks. If you never intend to return to the USA the tax burden is extreme and a constant threat. Renunciation of US citizenship has been made very very difficult recently. That’s why these people being deported have it easy.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion about the U.S. tax system (I have my own problems with it but different) and citizenship. but I can think of hundreds of millions who would disagree (I don’t mean the people who WANT to come here, they might be deceived as you seem to think, I mean those who have already emigrated to the U.S.) including my wife who has lived there for almost 20 years.

They need the ID because China won’t take them otherwise, So, the US is stuck with them. Human rights and all that. Apparently this is a very common method for Chinese people to “immigrate.” They just burn their passport and say they aren’t Chinese. Chinese government officials are too lazy/dont care enough to do the paperwork to get them sorted, so they get to stay.

Without a Chinese id, how do you know they are from china, and not Singapore?

      • Alex Dương

? Are you expanding your stale anti-Chinese comments to include Singapore now?

        • lacompacida

Anything worths doing worths doing thoroughly.

Nice to see that your bashing isn’t one dimensional.
