Apple CEO Timothy D. Cook announced the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in San Francisco on September 9, revealing various improvements to the company’s flagship product. Upgrades include a 12-megapixel camera, a new iOS 9 operating system and new “3D Touch” technology that can sense varying degrees of pressure and give tactile feedback. An all-new rose-gold finish will also be available. In response one netizen asked why the iPhone 7 hadn’t already been announced, one said Apple now relied on size and color as selling points, whilst another said the increased functionality would just make it more cumbersome.
