Ex-Porn Star Says Chinese Salary Insufficient, Riles Netizens

Japanese ex-porn star Sora Aoi has angered netizens after she appeared on a TV Tokyo television network variety show saying that her 50,000 RMB Chinese monthly salary was low to the point of causing a “serious kidney deficiency”, a phrase which featured in one of her adverts raising awareness about men’s health. Although Aoi, who now earns a living in China by acting, singing and shooting commercials, has a large Chinese fan base, not all support her. One netizen said that many workers bear the scorching sun all day but earn just 3000/month, whereas Aoi just has to lie down to earn 50,000 yet still complains.
