Fake Korean Identities of Online Lovers Exposed

20-year-old Li Ling and 38-year-old Liu Qiang were meant for one another. The online lovers separately installed translation software on their phones in order to trick people into believing they were Korean. Under the adopted name Che Youzhen, Li Ling reported that her Korean boyfriend and his Chinese assistant had run off with her bank card, which allegedly contained one hundred million won. During investigations, police discovered that the boyfriend and his assistant are actually fake personas invented by a married man named Liu Qiang. Moreover, the police discovered the bank card never contained any money and Li Ling had filed a fake police report to get back in touch with her fake Korean lover.
