Frantic Wuxi Organ Transplant Hits Delay
Early in the morning around 3 AM, deputy chair Jingsu Chen at Wuxi people’s hospital in Jiangsu acquired a lung donor, several thousand miles away, but they had a maximum of 9 hours to make the transplant. China Southern Airlines shift manager claims that because the flight was going to take off in 15 minutes and he wasn’t given enough notice that he had to refuse to let the transplant board the plane, delaying them half an hour. Fortunately, because of Shenzhen airline’s support they were able to fly from Guangzhou to Wuxi. Netizens think that this garbage director should be fired.

They should try a brain transplant from an intellectual to an extreme dumb nutjob.

We don’t know the reasons he couldn’t load the lung. There may not have been room. Maybe it was too much paperwork and no one to sign off to OK the break in procedure. By 15 mins prior to departure, the bins are usually locked, they’ve handed in the flight paperwork, and the doors shut. I don’t rush to judge, I want airlines to be safe. Plus, what good is a new lung in China?
