A 29-year-old Wuhan woman enthralled with dimples was disappointed when a doctor from the surgery department at the Wuhan Children’s Hospital turned down her request to give her 5-year-old daughter “artificial dimples”. The doctor said the girl was already beautiful, and that risks associated with cosmetic surgery are too high for a child so young.
