Netizen Says Father Died in Tianjin Explosions, Investigated

A person who claimed that his father had been killed in the August 12 Tianjin explosions to trick people into sending donations is being investigated by police. Netizen “My heart belongs to Bayern Munich always” activated the function enabling the receiving of funds on their Weibo account after making the false revelation, upon which sympathetic readers sent in their donations. However, when one netizen questioned the claim’s legitimacy, the account holder deleted the comment and cancelled their account. One netizen hoped the conman’s “desire” of wanting their father to die would come true.

So another person has done this now? On Shanghaiist, there was a story of a girl in Guangxi province that did it, and now some guy has too? Some people really have no morals at all.
