Mrs. Lin had deposited 69,000 RMB into her bank account at a Postal Savings Bank of China in Gulou, Nanjing. However, her husband later read “69,000.00 RMB” as “690 RMB” on the deposit receipt. Believing him, the furious Mrs. Lin marched to the bank with three bricks.
