Policeman Who Released 195.2 KPH Crash Video Dismissed
New reports say an assistant police officer was fired for posting a video online of a highly controversial Nanjing car crash. On June 20 a BMW traveling at 195.2 kph ran a red light and hit a Mazda, ripping it apart and killing its two passengers. A DNA report confirmed the driver to be Wang Jijin, and blood tests showed he wasn’t intoxicated at the time. However, some websites had already reported that Wang was a rich entrepreneur’s son and was intoxicated. Then, on September 6 police said that the driver had been diagnosed with “acute brief psychotic disorder”. Netizens praised the cop.
