8 People On 1 Motorcycle Going Faster Than A Car In China

From NetEase & Sohu:

One motorcycle carrying 8 people, and going faster than even our car…even more frightening is that the motorcycle was carrying several children, too dangerous.

With pictures there is truth:

It matches the state/circumstances of China.

2.橙涩昨日

The price of a motorcycle, the use of a commercial vehicle. Aside from it feeling crowded in the front and back, it is relatively spacious to the left and right!!!

3.yangtingjun1

This motorcycle’s capacity has been developed to the extreme, it is imitating India!~

4.jinyuan4747

What brand is this motorcycle? The quality is not bad!!!

5.oppo561314

This kind of joke should not be mad. Please do joke around with your own life and other people’s lives. Avoid avoid.

6.wmcf9527

In India, the roofs of train cars all have people, and the train doors all cannot be shut, so maybe this entire family just came back from India?

7.有辱斯文

Niu people ride niu motorcycles.

8.小撒

Dangerous, do not wait until something happens to regret, it will be too late then.

9.qiqi.f

From this we can see that the overall level our country’s motorcycles are still pretty high!

10.神临人间

If it were to flip, it would be yet another serious traffic accident.

11.ali.baba.123

China has too many poor people. They have no choice. Everyone wants a small car of their own to easily go out. But reality and ideals are very far apart.

12.totlezhang

As long as it is a rural/poor place, you can always see this kind of creative/daring person.

13.咖啡味道

Too stimulating/exciting, a little like performing acrobatics.

14.passionlb

Really fucking dangerous, where have the traffic police gone?

15.3号云朵

A necessity of life, although paying attention to safety would truly be saving money!

What is the most amount of people you have been with on a bicycle, motorcycle, or car?

I think it’s not that dangerous to ride a bike like that, if you don’t go too fast. It looks stable. And yes, the kids will be growing up fearless… In the
West we tend to be a little too much obsessed with safety.

        says:

Well, one of the problem is when this page loads, and inside the body tag, you have a node containing as it’s children the content–that is, . If you look at this in firebug you will see that it’s style attribute is “display: None”. Removing this made the content appear, for me. So this may be a quick-fix while I do some more digging to see what is up. Maybe when that login page shows up and if you fail login it sets the content display to none. I’m not sure, could be anything at this point.

I’m also noticed in Error Console you have an Javascript error:

        Error: links[i].href.match(/#(\w.+)/) is null
        Source File: http://www.chinasmack.com/wp-content/themes/chinaSMACK/js/domtab.js

          says:

I definitely think it may have something to do with that Javascript. I don’t have a proper editor that will format the javascript properly (and find parenthesis sets, etc) so it is hurting my eyes really bad and I hate reading Javascript.

I will have to work on this tomorrow, but I promise I will help you find it. Unless you fix it before I work on it :) It’s all good :)

But your problem is you have:

          var loc=window.location.toString();
          loc=/#/.test(loc)?loc.match(/#(\w.+)/)[1]:”;

According to the internet, loc.match() return NULL IFF it doesn’t find the searchString. So if the regular expression /#/.test(loc) is true and loc.match() return null, then loc is null. I haven’t gone too much beyond that except it does somethings, probably sets the Display: None somewhere…

I’m not sure though. Maybe I’m right or maybe I’m completely wrong. Who knows about these things? I’m a house boat cpt. who is short and fat and likes to drink rum and smoke cigars all day and every day.

Hello, any luck? I thought you did a quick fix yesterday which was working for me when I was accessing your site soon after I posted the above comment.

            So what did you do?

It seems that it no longer error out on the above line, but a little bit below now.

As of right now: it is still failing on me in the checkUrl function (note: I’m not too familiar with the DomTab script and it’s functionalities).

But here is a quick run-down of what I believe it does:

            1) It group capture the link after # and stores this as loc.

            2) Then little below it it sets a bunch of “div” tags to Display : None (as a preparation step?)

            3) Then it goes out and gets the list of all “a” tags. Then it loops through this list, and match and capture /#(\w.+)/ for comparing with loc. If loc and captured string match, then it does something, which I assume sets the link etc and the display CSS.

However, this will fail when it fails to match a \w after #. When I was stepping through the debugger I noticed that you have href such as #%22 etc, which will fail, since % is not in \w, then consequently this will result in the match returning null.

So the quick fix is to either (I have not thought-through the consequences, so it may fail or cause other problems):

            1) change your regular expression to

            /#(.+)$/

            2) Put in a null check

            if(loc == null){continue;}

Hey, a quick update: Maybe you not using the tab as intended because you are linking to named anchors in side the DomTabs (I noticed in several DomTab tutorials on the net that they all do not contain links to named anchored). What it does when loading the page is it grabs the current page location and does things based on named anchors. However, I have yet to complete review of the Javascript code–to understand it’s behavior. But as I mentioned earlier, it is definitely having problems with some of your links.

I will email you later about it and we can take this discussion offline. If you don’t care about this then we can just stop there or if you want we can try our best to fix the problem.

This reminds me of the time my parents promised to take me and my 4 sisters and brother to the circus. It was raining and for some reason my mother, who was out in the family car, got delayed for hours. Not wanting to disappoint us, my dad piled us on to his old 250 Yamaha that he used for buzzing around town. We ranged from 1 to 11 years old,3 on the gas tank and 3 in the back. Hell…it was only a couple of miles to the circus anyway. We thought it was the coolest thing ever. (My mom got pretty pissed off about it) Course…. these days we would have been stripped from our parents and put in foster homes for such reckless endangerment. Just because a dad didn’t want to let down his kids.

Right, I know! But I admit I didn’t read the instruction at all. So after reading, I see how this thing works, I haven’t spent too much time working on this but I will keep on looking. I’m going to check your DomTab div etc too see if there are any problems with usage. But on the Javascript level it is definitely doing what I described above. It is definitely causing the problems; however it could be that you are just using the thing in an “undefined manner,” whatever that means.
