Those pictures don’t work, people STUPID enough to smoke will continue, if they don’t like the pictures they can just cover them or take the cigs outta the packs. Well if the government encourage smoking then it’s not gonna stop- they want money, they don’t give a sh!t about your lives, too many people already anyway. This is one of the many things I’m ashamed of when I go back to China I see people smoking in public places. Makes me want to barf.

price can be a far better mechanism to combat smoking.
people will just choose to ignore the pics and continue smoking, whereas price is quite tangible, especially for the youth. Besides, these pics appear to be surreal, and sickness in this level does not happen very often.

Sometimes the risk of cancer seems better than the risk of having someone change your old man diapers and push you around in a wheel chair.

They say every cigarette knocks 7 minutes of your life away. If I smoke a pack a day for 20 years… I should be able to avoid around 2 years of suffering in my older years!

Smoking is pretty scary to me, nobody would do it if it weren’t incredibly addictive. Every one of my friends that has tried to quit cannot do it. The companies get you when you’re young and stupid, before you realize that if you’re lungs are unhealthy your quality of life goes down, basically you get fat and ugly. You can’t really stop smokers from smoking though, if they want to smell like an ashtray, have brown teeth, cough phlegm, and become society’s most unattractive people, by all means, its their right, just don’t smoke by me when I’m eating or I’ll break the fingers holding the cigarette.

I just wonder why so many gays posted replies on this topic. You smoker, you gay, you suck this, you will suck that too. Why not? There is smoke it mine too. Try it, you will love it.
I sucked 30 years, my father died a horrible death coz of smoking, he lost his young family, 2 young boys…a nice wife…
I put floweres now on his grave.
So, cigi is more powerful that your desire to live? You are so stupid? can’t you find a better way to enjoy this one life? Like fucking a girl or drinking beer?

I used to smoke 1 pack of cigarette a day for the past 15 years of my life. Recently about 6 months ago, I decided to move on my life, I was struggling to breathe properly after jogging for less then 10 mins. It was a struggle to quit at 1st. Especially the morning cigarette just right after breakfast or after a heavy meal (smokers will know what I am talking about).

But later on after the 1st month is was relatively easy.
One time I was out drinking alcohol (2 months after I offically quit) I got pissed drunk and ask my friend if I can have a cigarette because I “USED TO THINK” that cigarette goes really well with tobacco.

Boy was I wrong, after 2 puffs I simply had to put it out.. after that, I have not touched a single cigarette and I was convinced that I will never ever touch a cigarette in my life ever again.

I sincerly hope that people will know the ill-effects of smoking and it is your own will that can fight the addiction of Nicotine and that justifiably, it is ONE of the MOST DEADLIEST DRUG that has ever been LEGAL on the planet. It is obvious that these tobacco companies makes billions of dollars from people like us without the disregard of our health.
