Post-80s Girl Lives In Toilet To Protest High Housing Prices

These pictures of a girl who lives in the toilet/WC/bathroom of her work place are currently found on many major China BBS. Her reason is because she says housing prices are too expensive, and her company provides this room to her for free.

Small but happy [place].

modelweb:

Typical self-promotion.

smart2008:

Living in Hong Kong has been like this long ago, like those single rooms that young people live in. The only thing is in Hong Kong there is a folding door separating the toilet and the room so you can bathe in the toilet, that simple.

anrain:

Whether it is living in a toilet or living in a park, as long as one is self-reliant, one will be admired by others!

94爱枪:

This girl is impressive. After waking up, she can lift up her bed and immediately take a bath.

大青花鱼:

This is a house with very poor very poor fengshui. If you have the ability, move. Don’t live in this kind of house just for art.

十月的男友:

Zhuang bi girl. She just trying to become famous on the internet. I don’t believe you can buy a car yet not afford rent. Such a faking low life.

5盏灯:

Her graffiti is looks very childish.

大熊来啦:

Where do you bathe?…

Upon washing your hands, your notebook is soaked…

Upon bathing, your entire home is soaked…

Upon taking a ship, your entire home stinks…

It is like a prison cell…

蓝天勇士:

The housing prices these days indeed are too high! The pressure for post-80s and post-90s are increasingly high! When will these dog fart housing prices come down?

总被模仿:

Everyone has their own way of living but the louzhu is lucky because at least the company has this place for you to live in. How many people who want such a place but don’t have one!

红色的记忆:

Pretty creative. Whose fault is it that housing prices are so expensive?

xiao2487:

Over time, it will be easy to become depressed [in there]. It is pretty oppressive, so probably better for you to change your surroundings. Is it necessary to ill-treat yourself like this? If you cannot buy a house, are you unable to rent one? Renting with others would work too, and then find a man with a house to marry.

勇敢De心:

Trying to promote yourself, right? If you really have the guts, go live in a public toilet. What is meaningful about living in your own home’s toilet? Who are you fooling!!!

sdsljadh:

Someone who can put on a show like this definitely is not someone who because of economic reasons cannot afford a house. Is it meaningful to use this to attract attention? At least doing some plastic surgery to your face and body first. That way, more people will look at you, and it will be easier to sell yourself…

阳台上晒太阳的猪:

She’s lying. Someone who can use Clinique and Estee Lauder but not afford a house, what a joke!!! Even the cheapest Siemens washing machine is 2000 yuan. Let me guess, it is used to wash your high-end clothing, right? Ridiculous!!!

天涯芳草迷归路:

She does art, I can understand this.

Actually, I think prices are a little high. Im not sure, but I do have a question. Are product prices going up, because the country is making more money? Is the problem due bad distribution or wealth? Or is just the natural way a market works? If China keeps its high growth, I can see how things will get more expensive? But does high growth mean higher wealth and living standards?

      says:

Part of the problem is that property is used as an investment by those people who do have a lot of money. They have been investing in property because property prices ‘always go up’. In second tier and third tier cities this has led to a glut of apartments with nobody living in them. Rich people bought the apartments before they were even finished, and then hold on to them to sell a year or two later at a higher price.

It will take some time for this to work through – these apartments haven’t been bought using mortgages, so the buyers can afford to hold on to the properties longer in the hope of getting a better price.

just by looking at those pictures, I can tell that this is one selfcentered, stuck up woman, that only does this “stunt” for some more attention from everyone.

rent is indeed high. But its not like this girl is scrimping on the other things in her life…. a car? designer make up? i’ll bet you her clothes are luxury brands also.

shes not living that hard up. If she was maybe there’d be a pink light in the room advertising for other businesses

  5. I wonder if employees at the company still use the toilet during office hours…

It would be pretty awkward to know that people are going in and out of your ‘apartment’ everyday for 5 minutes taking a dump next to your bed.

Look how her face expression is proud. I agree with the lol in some extent.

Also, I don’t think that prices are so high that she cannot afford better accommodation. She willingly choose this bathroom in skyscraper in downtown instead of cheap flat in less “luxurious” part of city.

What scares me is that extension cord on same level as lavatory and tap.

Sure enough, her “room” looks very cozy.

Let’s get back to more serious matters – human rights.
This life is but a test. Death just means “time’s up, pencils down”. It can come at any moment. Then we spend eternity living with the results – pass or fail. Helping the helpless is how we PASS. Let’s do something for those who have no food, no water, no clothes, no health, and no freedom.

She is RIGHT, she has just voiced the life of poor people around the world. I’m from India and the prices of living here are very very high.

Buying a Car is actually very cheap than 100,00 rupees deposit plus water and electricity charges…half of the salary goes in monthly rent.

Once you buy a car its for 10 years or more.

Its the Bank + real estate mafia, that jack up the prices, housing prices should come down more.

Life is hard in a lot of places of the world but the things you give priority are the difference between live comfortable or not. You should use your extra time to make something that let you extra money and save it instead of be waiting for the house prices to go down. There will be time for painting later.
