Easy for me to take a reasonable amount of personal security for granted, especially living in Beijing. It is always humbling when I am reminding just how often women must deal with sexual harrassment and assault, in ANY society. Whats worse, since we, as fathers/husbands/brothers/boyfriends don't understand the threats they face, it makes it that much harder for them to come to us for help and support.We suck. The condom thing–it is rare to hear a story of someone doing something so vindictive and hillarious at the same time.

I am a black man, tall and muscular by chinese standards. Easy for me to take a reasonable amount of personal security for granted, especially living in Beijing.
