I think that last poster should just marry a lesbian girl, and then they can both be putting on a show for their parents, while going off and finding other partners. That way he wouldn’t be doing a woman wrong by marrying her….

Just once, but I talked to some other guys about the situation and they said they saw exactly the same thing..if you do go to a hospital that does these things, suggest walking to that area, it’s really a cold, dead feeling – not only from the hospital’s lack of warmth in decor and comfort.

Describing an event I have seen first hand and labelling it as evidence to support an “in general” (as clearly indicated, not just implied) suggestion is far from the pseudo-quote which clearly omits the “in general” and replaces it with an “EVERY”. There-in lies my reasoning for the reply I had left.

I think the biased part comes when you said

When you say “in general” there, you’re no longer describing what you saw, you’re taking what you saw and applying it to everyone.
I agree you never said everyone was always texting, but you do seem to be making a general anti-(Chinese) male statement there.

I never claimed NOT to be an asshole. In fact, I would consider it an insult to consider me anything but.

That being said, I was responding to his “Typical anti-male modern statement from Steve Jones.” bullshit, which is bullshit, and I’m (slightly) interested in what makes you think my statements describing my first-hand observation are “biased”? I was simply describing what I saw, and his snarky comment was replying to what I saw with some kind of fake-astonishment. I never said he’s an asshole, so “you’re the one who is” isn’t really valid, and You can fuck off too. :)

It’s a generalization about some of the things seen, you don’t need to tack in “EVERY” to try to make some ridiculous point of how the guys are really sympathetic and it’s my view which is skewed.
