Interesting stuff. Did you hear that there’s a new strain which is resistant to the anti-flu drugs? Tamiflu etc? Found a really good website for tracking it’s progress, seems to be updated every hour or so… http://www.swinefludeaths.co.uk.

I got Quarrentined inside Aircraft on the way back from Bangkok to Shenzhen on May 10. For over 2 hours, the “Friendly Health Inspectors” watch every single move everyone made. . . They had no clue of what they were doing, no standard check and uniforms were different in all three inspectors!!!

I suggest you send an email personally to your “US” embassy since you are still allowed internet access. :)
What would be even better is to take pics of these people and upload the photos as evidence to expose this inhumane custody.

I am a US citizen being held against my will in China. We were taken out of our hotel last night and driven 1 hr outside of Shanghai. There is one girl who speaks English to help us understand. We are being refused any medical attention and given very little water…330ml in 10 hrs and no food. The hotel has no food or water in it and it appears to be abandon. The people holding us have lied to the US embassy and we are in need of help. I am starting to feel as though I am in grave danger….please help 248-249-1317

lmao~~ This is another classic example of the Chinese government’s pseudosystematic nonsense.

One of the many farcical trends prevalent in China I came to observe is that the Chinese authorities and enterprises often invest a lot of resources on implementing systems which either nobody cares to follow or are faulty by nature.

In either case, it is apparent that THEY NEVER INTENDED TO REALLY ENFORCE THOSE SYSTEMS. All those talks, assurances and publicities were merely for show as situation requires.

What’s even sadder is that those conscientious few who tried to go by the book ended up being victims of the very system they honoured…

We are spared for now because the mutated virus isn’t that malignant. Else, that one maid could’ve wiped half the world’s population out, and I was just being optimistic really. :)
