Shanghai Orient Shopping Centre Kappa Girl [NSFW]

A scandalous picture of Lu Jiani, the famous Orient Shopping Centre Kappa Girl.

From NetEase:

Orient Shopping Centre Kappa Girl’s self-made AV spreads on the internet–comparable to Sexy Photos Gate:

事情的详细经过

Detailed Course of Events

This girl’s name is Lu Jiani and she is a saleslady for Kappa at a Shanghai department store. Someone put a video of her “having a human exchange,” which has popularly spread across the internet. This video is about 22 minutes long, of a man and woman “doing something,” and in the video, the Kappa girl’s actions are “bold and amazing.” Right from the beginning, she appears naked…rushes towards the middle of the screen onto the man’s body, first a kiss, and then she opens the man’s belt and pants to begin giving him a blowjob. “Shanghai Orient Shopping Centre Kappa Girl’s” makeup is rather thick/heavy, skilled with her mouth, and is hard to tell from a professional AV actress.

Tianya Posters Angry With Shanghainese On KDS

Anti-"wai di ren" image uploaded by KDS Forum user "boban1100."

From Tianya, “Shanghainese xenophobic posters, you definitely did not think it would reach this level“:

Everyone on this BBS discussion forum, look at the URL address of this picture [the picture is on KDS Forum], inside the majority are Shanghainese people. Their discussions are simply that there are too many “wai di ren” and have bad characters, affecting Shanghai’s image, affecting their living environment; “wai di ren” take their work opportunities, pulling down wages. They hope “wai di ren” can all get out of Shanghai.

The above point of view is consistently the unanimous point of view of this BBS discussion forum, so frightening!

This poster also quoted an article titled, “University professor: urban Shanghainese character very low, xenophobic phenomenon serious.”

CCTV Investigates Peasant Girl’s BBS Forum Post

Last month, a peasant girl shared her life’s difficulties on the internet, writing about her life of poverty, misfortune, and struggle to live in Shanghai and help support her family in the countryside. Frustrated, she finally said it was better to be a rich man’s mistress than marry a poor man.

This post became very popular very quickly and even China’s major television company, CCTV, reported about it earlier this month. They found the girl who wrote the post and broadcast her story to explain why she wrote the post and what has happened in her life since then. Below is the CCTV report (first ~16 minutes):

The following is a rough English transcript/summary of the video:

After posting on the BBS, some netizens expressed their understanding and sympathies to the Peasant Girl (农家女). Others doubted the authenticity of the post. They saw it as the product of someone’s boredom. But most of them criticized her and scolded her for her thoughts and feelings. They all thought that what she wrote openly challenged public order and tradition.

What reasons made Peasant Girl post her article? What was her intention? Where is she now? Why did she write such an article? Are there hidden stories behind her story? This reporter contacted the Peasant Girl several times and asked to see her but was refused. After much correspondence, she agreed be interviewed.

Japanese & Chinese Students Fight In Shanghai

A large crowd of Chinese students in Shanghai protest Japanese students who beat up two Chinese students in Shanghai.

From Tianya, “Shanghai International Studies University: Japanese students and Chinese students fought violently” (no longer accessible):

At present, the police, including the special police present, have already dispatched 10 police vehicles to maintain order, and the gathered crowd has just dispersed.

On October 20, 2008, about 10 P.M., over ten Japanese students were getting drunk and causing a disturbance in the school square. Their noise could be heard from every corner of the campus, which made the boys living on the 9th floor of the boy’s dormitory extremely upset. To protest against the Japanese, the 9th floor students sprinkled some water on the Japanese, resulting in the ten Japanese directly charging into the dorm to beat the two boys so severely that they had to be sent to the hospital.

Mummy On Shanghai Metro, Waves To Passengers

The Shanghai Metro Mummy.

From Tianya:

This afternoon I rode the Line 2 subway to go take care of some stuff. When we got to the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum stop, suddenly a “mummy” got on board. At the time, it started everyone on the car. This “mummy,” upon boarding, everyone took out their cameras to take pictures. The subways these days are really too awesome. A while ago there was Superman, a Deer Man, and now comes a “mummy.” The world really is full of extraordinary things.

‘China Does Not Have Any Men Suitable For Me’

Pretty Asian girl holding glass of wine.A Shanghai Jiaotong University female’s views on marriage.

Author: Self-professed leader of the Jiaotong University football [soccer] cheerleading team.

I am a female student of Shanghai Jiaotong University. It’s my first time writing a post. Please don’t laugh at my bad writing.

Everyone has an ideal in life. Some wants to become a hero, some wants to become rich, some other desires to become a leader. So what about me? My greatest wish in life is to marry a Western1 man. Some might say I am very vulgar, or even a turncoat, but I am a very traditional girl. To me, the most important thing in life is marriage. There is a very trendy saying currently, that studying well is not as good as marrying well. Marrying the right man is more important than anything else.

Some might ask, “Are there not enough good men in China?” Sorry, I have not considered before. As for the reason, don’t be impatient. Sofa, stool, the floor, take your pick, and listen to this girl’s reasons one by one.

Famous Shanghai Doctor Does Not Know English

Chinese doctor talks with foreigners.

From Tianya, “Thoroughly stupefied/stunned, famous domestic doctor does not know how to speak English“:

I did not feel well a couple days ago, so I made an appointment with a well-known doctor of a three-class-A-level hospital of Shanghai. When I was in his clinic, I thought I did not do a good job describing to him how I felt in Chinese, so I started to tell him about my body condition in English. The well-known doctor looked like he did not really understand me, and three graduate students were called to come help translate. It took a good while for them to figure out how I felt, and the doctor gave a prescription according to my description.

The graduate students told me afterward, that where I really needed to go is the Foreign Guest Clinic of Huashan Hospital.

I was extremely stunned.

How could a well-known doctor from Shanghai’s not know how to speak English…
