I love China and the chinese people, history and customs. I hope it can become a place of freedom in the future. My wife and daughters are chinese so we visit Hong Kong and the mainland often. It is, however. sad to see so many chinese taken in by this con-man Obama. Look further into his record ( at least the parts he hasn’t been able or had the time to hide) and get a real perspective. I know the chinese I personally know ( and those who are my relatives) are smarter than what some of the comments here make it appear. Don’t be taken in by flowery speeches. This is a guy who has spent over 500,000 US to keep his real birth records a secret. He has way too many skeletons in his closet. The only way he or the democrat-controlled congress are going to take an interest in the well-being of China is if they somehow profit financially from it. Don’t take my word for anything, just research; you may find your conclusions about this jackass altered dramatically.

China’s obsession with ascending to power is getting old. First of all if you look at the quality of life in europe and america, vs that of china, you will see the difference. While China undoubtedly has already cemented itself as a New world power, it has a long way to go. Until people here start to see the rest of the world for what it really is, they will never acheive the world dominance that people here long for.

When I was at the Olympics in Beijing, i noticed that even when there were no Chinese athletes competing, many in the crowd were cheering against American athletes, so that China would win the medal count. STOP FOCUSING ON THE DOWNFALL OF OTHERS INSTEAD OF IMPROVING YOURSELF

Psssh… Abortion, an issue above Obama’s paygrade. Whatever! He is just a people pleaser and I’ll bet every controversial issue will somehow be above his paygrade. Change! and Yes, We can!, way too corny!!! But, as he will be the next president I must offer him my support and pray that peace comes to us. O and he’s just a president, big money corporations have always run my country, see they are so effective they can get a bailout for themselves after running their companies into the ground. :’D
Wonderful! I voted McCain perhaps if he had ditched Palin he woud’ve won.

I was touched while I watched this speech. It nearly brought me to tears. I am a Chinese-American. I was born, raised and have lived in America for my whole life. But on the day of the election, I was living in Guangdong, China. I was glad to be an American citizen. I know Obama will change the country of America for the better, and his decisions will in turn affect the world.
