Don't do things that make the Chinese lose face. A 6 to 1 killing is just cowardly and shows a lack of discipline and respect for human life. Keep your wits about you even if provoked and behave like a Protector, not a thug!

Whatever it is the police and military or any authority figures in China must remember that China and anything it’s citizens do are now under a microscope. But we can all see that he started with them (young boy started with the police). I dont think they should have killed him, they should have arrested him. But it's not the same as an innocent person beign beat for NO REASON. He did start it with the police, they took it to far though. We can clearly see the boy trying to fight them for a few minutes even though his friends told him to stop. Finally the cops has enough and they beat the shit out of him......sorry to say but if I start shit with a group of ppl Id get my ass kicked too. I'mn to sayning what the police did was right, but the boy should ahve known he was utting himself in grave danger. Even if they didnt beat him he would ahev gone to jail which can be worse than death.

Okay at first I thought this was an innocent boy getting beat up by 6 police over a parking space.<br

To those who think the police could have just detained the NB.
But remember, the NB says he's got connection.
Maybe the next day, the policeman in question would be beaten to death by people sent by the NB's connection.
So, the NB Provoked it.. 不是你死，就是我亡。

I got more sympathy for the police than for that NB.<br

Not even with a brick, if you went at a RCMP officer or any officer in the states or Canada... first reaction? BANG... neutralize the threat and you are shot down baby... most likely dead. So, whats the diff in the end anyways? You die either way, weather you get beat to death or shot to death. In this case, this kid had many chances but he kept on fuking with the cop.... stupid kid. Oh and i forgot, cops in china dont carry guns! Thats why they beat u instead of shooting u!

The kid died, wow chinese police are now the bad guys … yea right.

I live in Canada, and if you tried running at a police officer with a brick and hit him or her on the head… and try going at him again with brick…. your shot down buddy. However, I do not address the events within China. I'm not sure you'd care about my opinion of your problems anyway.I'm not here to stir up trouble or troll. I would like to represent one voice native to the United States, and I wish to explain every example I see of this:Also, unless I am mistaken, in developed countries, police are not treated legally with a harsher law code when they are off-duty.Regardless of your politics, or whether you love it or hate it, we might as well admit the US is one of the standards of comparison when you speak of developed or Western countries, although I stress only one as I wish to take nothing away from Great Britain, Russia, ect.(Also, we probably agree that the United States is far from perfect. The difference is that I'm allowed to say that anywhere, to whoever I want. In fact, I can waste all of my days holding up posters with huge letters proclaiming the problems my country faces. Not that it does any good. The problems persist.)We have a saying in the US, which is "Your right to throw a punch ends where my nose begins." This is generally taken to mean that physical violence is prohibited and anyone who is the victim of physical violence is allowed to seek redress through the courts.Off duty police are (generally) assumed by those courts to have their powers 24 hours a day within their jurisdiction as long as they have proper identification upon them (ie- their badge) whether in uniform or not. However there are limits on this in practice, and it varies from one state to another.Police work is dangerous business, and there is the added problem that in many states citizens are legally allowed to have guns and use them to defend their person. Also, anyone can buy a very realistic looking badge and claim to be an off-duty police officer. This creates a potentially explosive situation where an otherwise reasonable person may resist off-duty officers, but would have willingly obeyed had such orders been presented by a police officer in uniform.Off-duty officers are really only allowed to do two things:1) Notify their superiors and/or request arrival of uniformed officers if they see any crime in progress. They are required to call a uniformed officer to make any nuisance arrests. (ie - disorderly conduct, verbal arguments, theft, ect.)2) Make arrests or become physically involved if there is an immediate threat to public safety. At the time of arrest/physical involvement. the officer (whether or not in uniform) becomes bound by what is called Miranda rights with regards to what he is allowed to do to the prisoner in his custody. There are still many examples of police brutality in the US, but our definition and tolerance for it seems different.Off-duty police officers are also required to disinvolve themselves from situations or disputes involving themselves, their family members, or their friends in order to avoid a potential conflict of interest. In such situations, they must wait for uniformed officers to arrive. Now I know I said I wasn't going to address the specifics of this incident, but I fear I must to continue my example. In the end, it may come out that the victim was on drugs or just crazy, and that he would have attacked anyone he met coming out. In that case one is allowed to defend themselves, even off-duty police officers, with whatever they can convince a jury of their peers is reasonable force. In practice though, the only basis for comparison we have here is the Rodney King beating in which uniformed officers held a man and physically beat him for several minutes. But he did not die. When the four police officers were found not guilty of using excessive force it sparked off the 1992 LA Riots. There are examples where off duty officers have killed people, and examples where on duty officers have beaten people, but we generally don't beat people to death here. We shoot them.

I did not watch the video, as my taste for violence is rather low. However, I do not address the events within China.
