From Youku:
Some university in Nanjing’s shocking “Elevator Gate”. Crazy, do they not know that there is a security camera in the elevator?
This video is currently spreading on the popular Chinese social network Kaixin001.

Comments from Youku:
assyyzz:
Nothing to be surprised about. Everyone who has gone to university understands bathroom culture, some brothers when bathing sing awfully, their screaming can even be heard 1 km away.
慕云居:
Completely an advertisement, though still pretty funny.
pk309660191:
Filmed very well~~it is creative, I thought of doing these kind of things on elevators long ago…
Sabrina86122:
This is obviously an advertisement for HuiPu [Hewlett Packard], all performed [not real].
伏瑞斯瑟:
Faint, first time seeing a pretty girl fart o(∩_∩)o…
ericwp:
采茶的姑娘:
So it was an advertisement for HuiPu (hp). Creative, I ding. My computer is from HP.
Da傻呱:
Fuck. This is too disgusting [unacceptable]. Even elevator security footage can be made public?

“Find more silly Chinese university students who do strange things in elevators”!!! Hell, yeah!
How elevator footage’s relate to HP? Can someone translate text at the end of commercial?
First first…going back to read article
Ok not first :-(. Where did they get the footage? It’ll remind me not to take any advice from Steven Tyler.
Wow. Sinking to ever new lows. People do random shit in elevators. Stop the presses…
Aww grow up man!these are just random acts by random people.just like some people sing in the shower some do crazy things in elevators, you must lead a very dismal and boring life.N new low MYASSmatic chest!
I’m surprised China actually uses their security cameras for something. But surprisingly there are many elevators that don’t even have cameras at all.
OMG,the chinese version of youtube ‘elevator’ show, which is my favourite. That’s the story of half year ago youtube was available though
What’s the name of the techno song? Anyone know?
I’m not sure of which song you talk but maybe you should try “Super Junior – Sorry”
So, uh… Why can’t we rate eachothers comments? Is that feature gone for ever?
Also, I have this entertaining until I found out it was fake. Oh well, win some lose some.
Wow, holy bad English batman… I’m a loser.
Hey, anyone know what’s that korean song that starts at about 0:42?
Sorry, Sorry by Super Junior
I do shit like this all the time in the elevator in my building. usually when my girlfriend and i are making the trip up/down stairs we either pretend we’re having sex or that one of us has accidentally killed the other.
chinese buildings are tall, and their elevators are slow. It gets hella boring.
Don’t just see that behaviour in elevator see it every day in Xujiahui Park 730am…they call it exercise someone should make a short moving of the silly moves these old people in the park have…still don’t understand the backward walking!!!!
….typo…should say short movie…not moving…
Often such videos get produced professionally by the company – in this case HP – itself. You just give them this shitty C2C look to make it more likely that they go viral. Then you somehow include the brand (more or less obviously), place some ad banners on youku, tudou, etc. and you get some nice publicity and clicks.
lol I can’t imagine doing stuff this ridiculous in the elevator myself, I think the strangest thing I ever did was pull out my hand grip exerciser to pass the time.
Why is it only Chinese netizens will claim a girl is pretty when the picture is taken from behind and all you can see is the back of her head?
Thank you for the YT link!
“If you cannot see YouTube videos in China, try the VPN I use: Freedur.”
Can someone explain this to me, please? Why can sites that require payment give you youtube but the free proxies don’t work? What is going on here? Who is getting this payment?
@dave most free proxies are blocked in china but several paid vpns are still up. these are businesses so they have much more incentive to make sure their service works.
Thanks Sunseed
But how do their businesses work? I mean if they are located outside China what methods do they take to make sure their service works inside China? What makes it more difficult for China to block them? I am really curious about that and obviously clueless on proxy operations on the internet. :)
They have connections to the right CPC officials (government and business run very closely together in China). Your likelihood of being blocked gets reduced heavily when you’re bribing the guy in charge.
farting in a closed elevator is just stupid…
ChinaSmack encounters problemos! ;-)
What a shame Ö
bof, nobody fuck inside.
Nothing interesting.
That boy wearing the hoody and white backpack was lovely.
Sorry but all the “internet phenomena” in China are crap.
That video was mildly amusing at bet.
Its all obviously bollocks. Who farts like that? And who runs on the spot in a lift?
I was expecting some shocking material aka piss or shit in the elevator or having a root. Guess those kids in the video were a bunch of redbull cosplay gits and clubbing fools.
I guess I didn’t get how exactly this is supposed to be shocking. How about that one out in comparison:
http://www.break.com/index/steamy-las-vegas-elevator-compilation.html
Maybe they are both staged, but that’s probably ok just for the number of times that kind of stuff happens without us watching ;)
H.
stimpy said it, the fart gave it away — completely staged, and stellar bang for the buck for hp. 1 million+ views on youku alone. who is the first university to offer a ba in viral marketing?
Boring vid. Let’s see some elevator sex now someone mentioned Steven Tyler already. Does anyone even fart like that??
I think they are destressing.
