Suzhou Sports Fan’s Sudden Death Possibly Due to Staying Up All Night to Watch World Cup, Expert: Don’t Overextend Your Body

Yesterday early morning, a young man in Suzhou city Xiangcheng district Huangqiao who suffered a sudden death was found in his room, his computer turned on, and the cause of death suspected to be related to staying up overnight to watch football.

This young man was 25 years old. According to neighbors, when family members saw him lying motionless in his room around 7am yesterday morning and went to check on him, they discovered that he was no longer breathing, and immediately called for medical help. Unfortunately, the young man’s could not be revived. As it is told, when the young man was discovered, the computer in his room was turned on. “At the time, it happened to be the group stage when Chile faced off against Australia.” Neighbors say that the young man still had his computer on in the morning means the probability of him having been watching the World Cup is relatively high.

According to emergency room Dr. Chen, when watching sports games, sports fans often will often be infected by the mood of the stadium and become exceptionally excited/stimulated. When the body remains in an excited/stimulated state for a long period of time and for people whose physical health wasn’t good to begin with, this can very easily cause medical problems such as an angina or myocardial infarction [heart attack]. Moreover, many sports fans watching games can’t avoid drinking alcohol, causing the heart to beat even faster, therefore further increasing blood pressure and blood circulation. For people who have weak hearts, this will bring about many unexpected hidden dangers. [People] must regularly allow their bodies and eyes to relax, stand up and walk about, with the most important thing being aware of one’s limits when watching sports games, to avoid “overtaxing” one’s body, and to be sure to get enough sleep.

Friendly reminder: NetEase friends, if you’re going to stay up to watch the game, then watch the game. Don’t suddenly see a big breasts goddess and start masturbating! A little masturbating is pleasant but too much masturbation will hurt the body!

Does this World Cup have any-fucking-thing to do with you? I don’t even want to watch a single game.

This sports fan must be a fatty. Staying up all night to watch the World Cup, thinking he can lose weight by jacking off, ejaculating each time a goal is made, in the end producing lots of semen but dying in the process, having lived to the ripe age of 25!

It’s all people who have nothing better to do who are going to watch that lousy thing! There are even people who will pay me money to watch and I don’t even watch! I honestly have no interest.

I’m reminded of a guy in a department of our company. During the ’98 World Cup, he watched the live broadcast drinking beer and enjoying an electric fan. When it ended, he then watched the recorded broadcast. Now he’s half paralyzed, having to drag one of his legs when walking.

This was probably because he was gambling on the game and lost, his anger causing a heart attack.

I might be the biggest failure of a sports fan. Every day, I only watch the first game [live] and only watch the rebroadcast of the rest of the games the next day. Just watching the first game has me falling asleep on the couch. It’s only when the TV presenters shout “Goal!” or “he shoots/kicks” every time that I wake up to watch the replay. I really don’t know how you guys manage to stay up all night.

包子飞y [葡萄牙球迷]:

Everyone take warning. You can stay up to watch the game, but don’t risk your life to watch the game. Be reasonable.
