Enforcement Officer Feigns Fall To Shoo Away Street Vendor

A Raoyang local government bylaw enforcement officer feigned falling to the ground in an attempt to shoo away an illegal street vendor who was blocking the sidewalk. After unsuccessfully urging the vendor to cease trading and vacate his position, one “resourceful” officer decided to pull the charade, shouting, “Call the police” to his colleague. Raoyang Town Management Law Enforcement Office said that the officer was a temporary worker, and has since been dismissed. One netizen said enforcement officers upholding the law in a civilized manner and street vendors abiding by the law was easier said than done.
