Each deceased will be met with a 500,000 RMB payout after DNA tests have been completed, which are necessary for identification and claim purposes. The disaster resulted in 10m high flames, trapping many immobile residents in the ‘fire friendly’ constructions, and leaving behind twisted metal skeletons.
