HK Student Demonstrators Go On Trial For Obstructing Police

Two members of student group “Scholarism” who organized last year’s demonstration outside the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Hong Kong are on trial for “obstructing police carrying out their reasonable duty.” Huang Zhifeng, 18 and Luo Guancong, 22 of the student movement which stands for getting involved in government administration through social actions were formally charged by Hong Kong police surrounding events in which they burnt a white paper concerning HK and mainland China being one country with two systems. One netizen said they should be caged and thrown into the sea.
