An emotionally unstable man shot and killed a young couple in order to get money for a train ticket back to his home in Anyang. Mr. Niu said he headed to the station and randomly bought a single ticket for a train that was about to leave after an argument with his wife left him in a bad state of mind. Carrying a homemade gun, Mr. Niu got the notion to kill for money after he realized his funds for the return were insufficient. Thereupon, he shot a male in the back and a female in the head at a park in Linyi, making off with around 300 RMB. Many netizens asked how Niu got through safety checks at the station.
