i always wonder these people who married very ugly person, how could they have sex with their mates?????
especially those actresses, they are rich enough already, why have to marry ugly old men??

    • Jahar

Your past, present or future boyfriend should be able to answer that. :P

      • DD Bear!

        kill you

i never had sex with ugly guy!

        • Jahar

But those guys had sex with an ugly girl.

          • DD Bear!

            yes,yr mom.

          • Jahar

If your boyfriends all have sex with my mom, that’s kinda gross. I’m sure you can find guys that don’t sleep with 60 year old toothless women.

          • bujiebuke

“Could you have been born, Jahar? And not egg-hatched as I’ve always assumed? Did your mother hover over you, snaggle-toothed and doting as you now hover over me?”

          • mr.wiener

He said she was toothless, not snaggle -toothed.
And when you get right down to it we all came from eggs.

You are hovering over him at the moment, lets move along shall we?

          • bujiebuke

There’s a transition from snaggle toothed to toothless.

          • mr.wiener

            Nope. Never saw it.

          • bujiebuke

I feel sorry for you then.

          • mr.wiener

I’m sure I can download it.

          • bujiebuke

Easily the top 10 television series in history – well worth the gigabytes it’ll take up in your hard drive.

          • Jahar

I’ve seen it, and I agree it’s a great show. I didn’t know that was a quote from it. It’s been a few years. I was trying to figure out why you used quotation marks there. I’m gonna go download it when I get home.

          • bujiebuke

Title of the episode: “I am not the fine man you take me for”

          • Jahar

I read up about it and I remember the scene now. But to anyone who didn’t recognize it, that comment seemed pretty far out there.

          • James

that’s an awesome quote, can’t wait to insult the next person w/ this.

  • Jahar

They knew each other well enough to get married but not well enough to have sex. That’s nice.

    • mr.wiener

I’m not advocating “put out or get out” … but you should at least be clear on what you expect from a marriege before you take the plunge.

    • tomoe723

Apparently, they didn’t know each other that well enough. If you had read the article, it was even a forced marriage with only an acquaintance. And from how it went, it seems like neither really loved the other. One was only after sex, the other for the thought of marriage. The guy probably isn’t handsome enough (maybe even ugly) for the girl to consistently decline him. If I were the guy, I’d wait it out a year, what else can the girl do, they’re already married. Show patience and understanding and even the prettiest of girls will make love to an ugly man. Although not married yet, I’ve had girl friends who had ugly boyfriends, and they said they really love him. smh.

      • DD Bear!

        hahahaha!
        your reply is so funny!
i think no guy would admit he is too ugly for a woman to have sex with.
        let alone wait one yr!

        • Mihel

i think no guy would admit he is too ugly for a woman to have sex with.

Ahaha they would always think it’s either because she’s frigid/she’s only after money/she’s spoiled/she’s a bitch.
The blame is always on the other side.

          • DD Bear!

            haha!
guess this tomoe is too naive!

          • Mihel

Actually, he’s the only one talking some sense.

          • DD Bear!

the will is good, the reality is cruel!
            hahaha!

          • Gerhana

I sending you my picture I want to be your boyfriend hehe

          • DD Bear!

            哈哈哈哈哈哈!
            hahahahahahaha!
            wakakakakakakakakakka!
            xixixixixixixixiixixixixixixixixixi!

        • tomoe723

Uh-huh? Then you haven’t met that many (ugly) men yet… not that they’re ugly.. no offense to men.. hehe.

          • Gerhana

Tomoe, are you an Asian living in US?

          • tomoe723

Nope, not living in the US anymore. I did live there for quite awhile though, university and all that “campus” life.. lol. Why do you ask?

          • Gerhana

just curious :),I was guessing…. either US or UK.

      • Jahar

I read the article, I know they had been pushed into marriage. Apparently you missed my point.

        • tomoe723

Do you know how it is to be in a forced (arranged) marriage? What was your point anyway?

          • Vance

It is amazing how we humans mess up even the most basic things. The idea of marriage for true love is relatively new, and obviously not yet completely accepted in some parts of the world, and yet, when done correctly, marriage is as close to perfect Heavenly love as imperfect humans can get. It is the way it was meant to be. But no, we are all concerned about the material things and the “marriage” is just signatures on a piece of paper.

          • tomoe723

Even in arranged marriages, there needs time to develop “love” feelings prior to the wedding. Thankfully, forced marriages rarely exist nowadays. Marriage as almost perfect heavenly love? Haha. Only old couples know that meaning. And maybe the blindly-in-love-with-each-other young ones who tend to change their minds when going through a divorce. But only the Roman Catholic church enforces that ideal because divorce is still not legal. (wiki)

          • Mihel

Actually, most christian churches except some protestant ones do not view divorce as a legitimate way to end marriage. (wiki)

          • tomoe723

christian churches you mean congregations under the Roman Catholic? Only annulment is allowed by the holy see. And that process takes years to carry out.

          • Mihel

No, christian churches as in christian churches.
Acceptance of divorce in christianity is the exception not the rule.

          • tomoe723

That used to be the case, and biblically as well. But now it’s more common than you’d imagine. The only countries where divorce is not legal is in the Philippines and Vatican City (not that it matters there). If the city/state allows divorce, most likely the local churches also recognize it. Religious people are less likely to divorce though than non-religious counterparts.

          • Mihel

You’re talking about civil divorce, and that’s a whole other subject.
Civil divorce does not dissolve religious marriage and no, that’s not only in the Philippines.

          • tomoe723

Yes I am talking about civil divorce. If the state allows it, then the local churches will recognize it. They’re just not allowed to remarry, unless there’s annulment, and the civil divorce helps with the annulment process.

          • Mihel

Well, if you’re talking about civil divorce then you’re contradicting yourself.

only the Roman Catholic church enforces that ideal because divorce is still not legal.

If the state allows it, then the local churches will recognize it.

            a) RCC, like most churches, does not recognize civil divorce as a legitimate way to end marriage. “Religious” divorce like in some protestant churches is the exception in christianity.
            b) Civil divorce is something that does not pertain to churches but to individual nations. For most churches the divorcees are still religiously married, even if they are civilly divorced.

          • tomoe723

Maybe I explained it poorly, so let me try again. Only the RCC enforces this ideal of marriage as perfect heavenly love because they don’t allow divorces, not lawful (legal) in their doctrines. It has been that way before for many years (decades or centuries). But now, with states that have legal divorces, the local churches (and Catholic ones too) recognize these divorces as supplementing a request for annulment even if the bible still says no about it. The culture of the generations have also changed which added to the rising frequency of civil divorces in christian nations. However, in a country like the Philippines, the churches don’t recognize divorces because there’s nothing to recognize. Their civil laws don’t allow divorces. I wasn’t talking about religious divorce in Christianity because the concept isn’t supported at all. I was referring to civil divorces as more common ways to get couples separated in christian churches nowadays, simple because the state allows it.

          • Zappa Frank

you are confused about RCC, chirstian churces and the policy of divorce.
RCC (and not only, there other christian churces like that) does not recognize divorce, divorced people are considered out of the RCC. Annulment of marrige is done by the “sacra rota”, not by civil tribunals and doesn’t have anything to do with divorce, it states that the marriage “never existed”… it has infulence on tribunals (and not the other way around) only in italy

          • tomoe723

Maybe I shouldn’t have used the word “recognize”. But divorced people aren’t necessarily out of the RCC. I never said religious annulment is carried out by civil tribunals. However, there is also a civil annulment done by a civil court.

          • Zappa Frank

Divorced people ARE out of the RCC, necessarily. They cannot get the communion anymore, that is to be out of the RCC…
A civil annulament done by civil coutr is not recognized by RCC

          • Jahar

That no one should ever have to get married to someone they aren’t interested in making love to.

          • tomoe723

That’s only your personal opinion. Besides, “aren’t interested in making love to” can change over time.

          • DD Bear!

            no!
            can never change!
i find out if i do not wanna have sex with a guy, no matter how nice he is, also how good the dates are, at last i always give up.
ok, even a guy could be crippled or whatever, but his face can not be ugly also his body should be always clean , no any bad smell.
only in one case i can change a bit, he is super high IQ and smart.but still can not have ugly face and bad smell.

          • tomoe723

Even if you’ve already made up your mind, your heart (feelings) can still change over time. I’ve seen ugly Chinese university students have really pretty girlfriends. I dunno if she really in love, more like the smarts and well-funded research status. But I assume they’re sleeping with each other coz she’s very “affectionate” in public.

          • Jahar

The vast majority of the western world would agree. You disagree? seriously?

          • tomoe723

Agree to what? You’re applying western concept of marriage to a Chinese couple? That’s nice.

          • DD Bear!

agree that a person should not marry someone he/she does not wanna have sex. coz it’s the basic animal instinct.

          • tomoe723

If the girl really doesn’t want to bear children for the guy (for whatever deep abhorrence or dislike of the guy), yeah, I guess they shouldn’t have gotten married at all. But if only for the act of sex, it’s a shallow flimsy reason. She already said yes in the wedding, probably kissed him, too. So why go through all that and stop in bed? It’s selfish, but the guy is also impatient. 6 months in a marriage is rather short wait. They sleep in the same bed but no intercourse. That’s just silly.

          • DD Bear!

i think a guy that even his wife does not wanna have sex with, normally a loser in front women, merely have normal sex life, i do not think he can wait and wait.

          • tomoe723

I don’t think he’s a loser. They already got married with the consent and blessings of everyone around them. That’s already a win for him. But he couldn’t wait, so he gave ultimatum to divorce and take back dowry. The girl finally made up her mind and agreed without clinging to the material stuff.

          • Jahar

Agree with what I said. Being willing to make love to someone you marry is a western concept now? Are you retarded?

          • tomoe723

You’re the one who brought western world agreement here. If she’s not willing to make love, why go through all that hoopla of getting married? It’s like a vegas instant wedding y’know.

          • Jahar

I just said they would agree with me. That has no relation with it being a western concept.

  • WghUk

Nowadays love is just a practical purpose.

  • vonskippy

Never buy a car without a test drive. Good advice in any country.

    • Vance

Cars are not women though. A car will not just drive off one day because its “feelings changed”.
