Parents Bring Children To Look At Expensive Houses

During Children’s Day, some families in Guangdong brought their children to look at luxury villas priced at over four million RMB to motivate their desire to be successful in life. Children should understand the fruits of hard work and taste what it feels like to have wealth so they will work hard and thus be able to afford such luxury homes and cars. These families also often take their children to jewellery and sports car exhibitions. Chinese netizens however do not agree and feel that simply having money but nothing else does not equal success.

Because kids here need more pressure.

  • Why do adults shadow their kids with their own desires and fault’s so much… They should be arrested by the moral police when they enter the villa.

    • YourSupremeCommander

Why? Chinese moral police do this on their days off too!

“Chinese netizens however do not agree and feel that simply having money but nothing else does not equal success.” Ummm which Chinese have THEY been talking to?

There is nothing wrong in wanting to be filthy rich! Ask any starving african child who has to walk 1 mile barefooted to get fresh water if he or she want to be rich or not…..well if the answer is no then that is probably the reason why China has the second largest economy in the world and Africa does not.

But Africans are amongst the happiest

      • KamikaziPilot

No they’re not, where did you get that idea? Scandinavian and some South American countries consistently rate the happiest whenever these studies are done.

        • Chris Bullock

Those studies are based on things like GDP and infrastructure..but Africans themselves tend to be the happiest despite the poverty. You read your studies, I..ask my buddies

          • KamikaziPilot

Some are but I know there are also studies that do ask people about their sentiment towards life and Africa in general is towards the bottom. I’d go with my studies since they encompass a lot more people than your buddies.

Unfortunately, almost all religious tenets frown upon being filthy rich. And there’s good reason behind it.

          True dat!

      • In our world today, money is freedom and a tool to do whatever it is you want to do.
Money is a means to an end…
Many people believe the Bible says “Money is the root of all evil”,
        but this is not correct…
it is “THE LOVE of Money that is the root of all Evil”
        Again, Money is a means…
Do you have to sacrifice your family or your health for money?
Then that is a bad trade.
        We go around once…
what is it that matters to you?

I have no problem with having money the way you put it. But too much of anything is always bad.

    4 million?

Is it just me or is that not much money for an “expensive house”?

Most apartments in Beijing cost at least that, a house in Sydney is double that.
