If you live in China, you may have seen this man on warning and wanted posters throughout China, often near bank ATMs and even within residential communities, in connection with a series of robberies and gun shooting murders. You may have seen him in the news or on TV as well.
This man, Zhou Kehua, He is alleged to have been responsible for the robbery and murder of 9 people, usually by a shot to the head, in various parts of China. Despite a multimillion RMB reward offered for his capture, he remained free and elusive for years. After he robbed and killed a woman last Friday in Chongqing, a large police manhunt was mobilized and launched, and was prominent in the news for the past several days…
Warning: Some photos below may be too graphic for certain viewers.
Zhou Kehua shot dead by Chongqing police
August 14th morning at around 6:40, serial gun robbery suspect Zhou Kehua was shot dead at the Tongjiaqiao of Shapingba district in Chongqing. According to the police who shot Zhou Kehua dead, they had received a tip when staking out a place of interest, found Zhou Kehua’s trail and began trailing him. The suspect turned around in an alleyway, said he had taken a wrong turn and then began shooting at the police, firing off three shots in succession. Two police officers each fired back two shots and shot him dead.
Comments from NetEase:
This is retribution/karma, your gun muzzle was pointed in the wrong direction.
Why not make the details public? Were so many crimes really all committed by him?
It’s not that my heart is cynical, it’s that there are too few things in China that are reliable/trustworthy…
Dead men tell no tales.
It’s wouldn’t be using someone else to deceive us, would it?
How come it doesn’t look like the same person? Anyone feel the same way as me?
If he was shot dead, then we’ll never know if those things were done by him. Put all of the murders on him and don’t give him a chance to refute them.
Now that this brother has come down the mountain [referring to Gele Mountain near Chongqing where police thought he may have been hiding], the people [police] on the mountain can finally leave.
Two days ago, public opinion about him being shot dead had already begun being manufactured, and today sure enough we see him being shot dead. If a sniper can get a head shot (look at the photos where he’s shot in the head), why not immobilize him? Why couldn’t tens of thousands of people searching for him catch him alive? Right now he is merely a suspected criminal, not a criminal. You can blame all of the cases on him and there isn’t any evidence whatsoever to prove that he did them, just surveillance photos. Isn’t this kind of case-solving too sloppy? Every citizen has the right to representation, regardless of whether or not he is a suspected criminal or a criminal. I’ve seen too much news of suspected criminals being shot dead, can you guys please aim your guns slightly lower? Use a trial and the law to pass a death sentence. Otherwise one day any of us could be identified as a suspected criminal and be shot to dead on the stop.
Also, don’t rush to hold a celebratory feast, this is to your shame, not to your merit. I really can’t see what merit can be said of you guys in this matter.
You’ve been watching too many serial dramas, right?
Zhou Kehua is a serial murderer, had a gun, and was extremely dangerous.
Is the head and chest a larger target or the hand? Simultaneously shooting both of Zhou Kehua’s hands/arms? To immobilize him?
You don’t know what the topography around Tongjiaqiao is like, alleys everywhere, with lots of crowds.
Two big questions, that I hope can be cleared up: One is was it really necessary to shot him dead? Two is just what reason compelled him to take this path of no return?
To be honest… you at least need to be like when Osama bin Laden was shot… make a photo for everyone to see…
A suicide. The bullet shell is right by his head, so obviously after he had fallen from taking a bullet to his waist, he committed suicide. Head Shot Brother ultimately shot himself in the head.
Your sister [bullshit], after having robbed so much money, he only has over 300 RMB on him? And so many 10 cent bills? Your sister, after hiding for that many days, in the mountains, out of the mountain, in a cave, in the downtown area [places police have said he may be hiding]? Your sister, with his clothes so orderly and his shoes so clean, dressed like a typical government worker? Where is the truth?
Looking at the photos, he died from a shot to his temple. Can a frontal shootout end up hitting someone in the temple?
I’m reminded of that day Little Yang was tried, how outside the court, there were dozens of people shouting slogans, and innumerable people online supporting him. That scene, as if he was a hero of the people.
He had a mobile phone on him, did he use it normally? Did he need to recharge it? Could he have recharged in a mountain cave? 囧
The battery life of his mobile phone is too incredible, what brand is it? I’m going to go buy one too!!!
Those in support, please ding~~~
If only he hadn’t gotten a cold… [cold medicine was found amongst the items he was carrying.]
I just want to know, where he has been living and what he has been doing these past few days?>
What do you think? Is there cause for suspicion?
