When law enforcement officers become a vulnerable/disadvantaged group, with routine enforcement of the law by law enforcement officers becoming an excuse/opportunity for criminals to attack law enforcement officers, and malicious media add fuel to the fire, confusing right and wrong, so that law enforcement officers cannot protect themselves, who then can protect us law-abiding citizens? No wonder people often say “stuff to death the audacious, starve to death the timid”, must we law-abiding citizens also become strongmen?! In order to realize a society with rule of law, we must several punish law violators as well as negligent law enforcement officers!

Cities need chengguan and cities can’t be without chenguan, so firmly support chengguan! That some people dare to do such cruel things to chengguan and certain public opinions don’t distinguish right from wrong, they are actually harming those law-breaking street vendors, when they could have been more rational.

Either way, if those who die aren’t the street peddlers, it’s the chengguan, not those who create public opinions who only care for the sensational.

Chengguan has already become the public enemy of the people.

Shows that the people quite hate these people!

Public opinion in China currently is sympathy for the weak, and there is no longer any concept of right and wrong in their hearts. This is the tragedy of China.

There are urban construction supervision, land supervision, as well as public security, and the courts, so why did the chengguan take the lead?
Do the chengguan have more power than the departments mentioned above? Why do the ordinary common people throughout the nation hate the chengguan so much?
You guys should reflect on that.

I hate those street vendors who ignore the public’s interests for their own interests. I hate even more those street vendors who exploit some people’s negative image of chengguan in order to maliciously violate the laws and regulations.

[Resorting to] Throwing sulfuric acid when one is at the end of their wits is self-defense, or should they just allow themselves to be beaten to death by the chengguan?!

Sigh, China is still poor. If these people had clothes to wear, food to eat and work to do, would they brave cutting winds and scorching sun to set up stalls on the streets? How many civil servants do this? If their fields weren’t forcibly occupied/taken, would they defend their humble houses to the very end? Where is the root of the problem? I believe everyone knows very well in their hearts. Don’t fucking always say unruly people, unruly people!

Chengguan exacerbates social contradictions/problems, so shouldn’t there be reforms?

If the chengguan are injured, who then can take back the Diaoyu Islands?

Rats crossing the street [from a Chinese saying, “when a rat runs across the street everybody cries, ‘Kill it!’”, meaning a person hated by everyone, a common public enemy/pest]

You deserve it for not abiding by regulations in the your enforcement of the law.

Chengguan attacking street vendors and street vendors attacking chengguan are both wrong!

This time, chengguan meets a hard task.

If true, severely punish the perpetrator! Without delay!

Severely punish the perpetrators. Society should establish awareness of the law.

The person who threw the sulfuric acid I bet is a dead man [doomed]. The crime of intentional injury can be sentenced to death if the case is serious.
