Woman Embezzles Millions From Supermarket To Pay For Affair

In Wenzhou, Zhejiang, a woman in her twenties was discovered to have embezzled over 2 million RMB over a period of two years from the supermarket where she was employed. The married woman used the money on luxury items and vacations for her and her lover, and paid for more than 380 hotel rooms, including some of the most expensive in Wenzhou. By reporting a majority of cash purchases as credit purchases, she could take the company’s cash for herself without being noticed. After being discovered and unable to pay back the money, she was arrested, and is currently in trial awaiting her sentence.

        Hey gurlfren, how’s D-Art?

The employer deserved it for being either too trusting or too dumb.

  • Mighty曹

    How was that even possible???

    • redwhitedude

China is not known for effective law enforcement nor always having competent management of business.

      • Mighty曹

And obviously there is no such thing as a quarterly or even a year-end audit. Otherwise this would have been uncovered.

        • redwhitedude

It’s an alien concept for them. Do you get the sense that whenever something bad gets uncovered it is the excuse of government regulated media to blame foreigners? Such as this anti monopoly thing that is clearly government orchestrated agenda. Instead of fixing what’s wrong it is about blaming somebody else. How are they going to improve if they keep doing that?

          • Mighty曹

The owner/boss was probably too busy scheming to make money and overlooked what was taking place within his own business.

          • redwhitedude

As some people have alluded inept management.

      • Mighty曹

        .

I might also add carrying out enforcement with a political agenda.
