Woman Finds Lost Bag, Demands 3,000 RMB in Exchange for Return

This February Mr. Li, who was traveling for business, accidentally left his handbag which contained an engineering contract, his I.D. card and several jade pieces in a noodle restaurant in Tongchuan, Shaanxi. He had a friend post an announcement looking for the bag, and offering a reward in exchange its return. The same night, a woman sent Mr. Li a text message saying she had the bag, and demanded 3,000 RMB in exchange for its return. He bargained with her and they agreed on a 1,000 RMB reward, but after 3 months the woman is yet to return the bag.

The contract can be reprinted, the ID replaced. The jade pieces have ‘Made In China’ marks. No harm done.
