A 50 year male cyclist in Fuzhou was killed after falling through the rear windscreen of a small silver car unable to brake in time after it sent him flying into the air on impact. The incident caused a tailback for almost a mile on the road which is reserved for motor vehicles, with traffic only being restored an hour later when the deceased was removed and the car towed away. Reporters discovered two trodden paths on the green zone next to the road which residents say are often used as shortcuts to access it. Netizens were fed up of cyclists encroaching on vehicle-only lanes.
