Qinghai Official Dies After Falling From Apartment Roof

Jin Haining, State Standing Committee member and Secretary of the Political and Law Committee in the Haxi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai, died this weekend when he fell off of the roof of his apartment building. Authorities from the related public safety agencies are currently investigating the death. Many netizens commented about the high number of “falling” deaths among officials, while others believe it may be a tragedy led on by the man’s problems with depression.
