    I remember watching this thing on VH1 a couple years ago where the commentator made a comment about how Asian American men and black women should get together because they’re the two most least mixed and unmarried groups of people in America. I’m glad it’s happening somewhere.

    I’ve read most of the comments here and I seriously don’t understand what a lot of you are trying to say.

    But it’s ridiculous how racist some of the comments are. How the hell does this couple affect you guys in any way??

    And I don’t know what kind of Chinese people you guys run into, but you must attract the most devilish fiends running on this Earth. It’s almost as if the only reason you people ARE in China is to find proof of other “racist” Chinese guys and show them to the World….like it’s some sort of fucking groundbreaking thing. And you must wonder what attracts you to these people, you go out looking for this type of shit, and just have field day with it. Like it’s an addiction for some of you, to find out what’s wrong with China. Yeah China is a fucked up country for all I know with things that are completely unreasonable to the average Westerner. But then again, it seems a lot of you doesn’t know how to deal with it…..so you look for more negativity to corroborate your claims. I mean, I could go around internet meassage boards all day long and look for racist Chinese comments, racist English comments…now how the hell does that help me one bit?? Why not walk away from it? Why not look for something else for once and have healthy relationships with people of different races. Why should we always look for the blemish and imperfection of other people??

    How about knowing some positive, open-minded people for once….how about looking at people in a positive way for once in your lives.

    Who gives a goddamn what some Chinese guy does or some Black girls does….seriously.

    And what if the Black girl speaks fluent Chinese?? What if she lived in China for a long time?? Then what??

    And keep in mind a couple like this will get stares everywhere, not just in China…yeah moreso in China but they will get stares in the US of A, in any country in Africa, in any goddamn country. Just get over it.

      And plus, it’s a damn shame that all you saw in my words were “Black people are racist.” Which can’t be anything further from the truth, I was making an example, and using a sarcastic comment to imply that it is human nature, and not just Chinese people nature, to be curious, and maybe even insulting towards uncommon interracial couples. And that’s one of the consequences for being in an interracial relationship, you are more likely to attract attention, positive or negative. And especially in China, this type of stuff is a normal ocurrance since there isn’t any personal space or privacy like you would expect in Western countries. Don’t know why any of you would be even surprised by this if you’ve lived in China for a while. So, do you get it now??     Okay.

    I am a black women from America who has dated a Chinese man. And I must admit it was interesting, but because of the language barrier the relationship could continue. I don’t see why there is such a issue with interracial relationships.

    Me personally love comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors and no one should deny love because of your race. I love Asian men…hell I love all men that are competent and not ignorant, but I say THANK YOU to all Asian men that build up enough courage to speak to a black woman.

    We as humans have so many thoughts running through our heads of the physical appearance, the dick size, and a persons race…that a lot of people are holding back on what they truly want.

    TO ALL ASIAN MEN coming from a black woman…if you see a black woman that you like take the chance and speak to her…because regardless of what you have in your pants…not all women need to have fun with a Asian man by the size of shaft.

    I have a little story from the 1930s. My father grew up in the South, a Japanese American guy. In his town, there were some Chinese men. They were considered “illegal immigrants” because immigration from China has been outlawed in 1881. Well, that doesn’t stop people from coming to America, or going anywhere really. This goes double for Chinese people, who seem to be everywhere in the world.

    Back then, in the South, they had segregation. Blacks and whites had separate entrances, facilities, etc. It was racism of a kind that I’m reminded of when I read these comments on this board. It was a horrible time. Asians in the South lived “in between” being white and black.

    These Chinese men, they were considered “Black” and existed within the African American community. (My father’s family, probably because my grandfather had joined the military, were allowed to attend white schools. It was very unusual.)

    These Chinese men eventually integrated into the Black community, and married, and by the 1990s, there were a number of African American families with a Chinese grandpa.

    It turns out that this was quite common. I have met a pretty fair number of African and European Americans who have an Asian grandfather or grandmother (usually a grandfather). The African American community is one of integration, where large numbers of men and women of all races have integrated into the community. They have succeeded in doing what America only promises – integration and a unified identity and a sense of “nation”.

      Yes this is true of the south and also on the island of Jamaica where there is an entire segment of Chinese Jamaicans. They are almost all the result of black women and Chinese men intermarrying and having children.

    Why assume it is based solely on sexual attraction? Here is a lovely couple, the woman an African American, the man from Northern China. They live in the U.S. have been married for 2 years. Here is an interview with the lovely wife and there is a picture.
    She is dark and lovely, he is 6’4″ tall. They met on the internet.
    Real love sees no color or culture barriers at all.

    Oh yeah, I did see a black girl with au natural hair last week (quite rare these days). Her afro looked literally about three feet in diameter. I wish I had my camera with me, I would’ve posted it. I was HUGE! So unless we all want mud skin and hair that could hide a colony of cockroaches without one knowing it, not to mention all the other disadvantages of being black, I’d stay well away.

      Dark skin IS beautiful. For some the darker the better. Some prefer a lighter shade of dark. Same with whites except most whites want to be darker. What’s the ideal man? Tall, dark and handsome.

      And let’s not forget that whites put themselves through hell to tan and to get cosmetically more African in appearance (lip and butt jobs, etc). Hair? Whites get phony afros with perms?

      A good looking black person looks better than a good looking white person, imo. Because the black person has naturally everything the white person has to suffer and go through pain to get.

      Bleaching creams? They were invented by white people for white people. Ironically to fade dark spots from sun exposure due to tanning.

    In a discussion where I believed Arabs are more racist than whites for the simple reason that they have it in their tradition of 1400 years that said ‘there is no preference of a man over a woman, an Arab over a non Arab except in piety’, someone pointed out an Arab will never kill anyone because of his skin colour but (wicked) Englishmen do, well referring to racist killings at the time in england.. Chinese will not kill a black simply because they dont like his skin colour but what was done to Lou Jing and continued in comments to this article is more than murder.

    The fact that someone in his own tiny little mind that has no understanding of the biological and chemical changes going on within his or her body at any given second, dependent on air, water and food to mention a few,think they are and justify the thought of being superior than other races in any way is abhorrent and repulsive.

    But then again they are online and punching the keyboard, none of these repulsive hypocrites will come out in public and admit this. So theres my challenge to all of yuz.

    There is a big difference between ‘cultural reservations’ which every people have a right to and ‘racist remarks’ cos you were denied love as a kid. Yeah some will say they were loved, no you think you were loved but it wasnt enough, for if it was, we wont be having this discussion.

    In an African country, many chinese men go to make money, most leave their families back in china and end up having black mistresses. One particular guy, got his mistress pregnant, then went home on holiday and a few days after he got back he died, his wife and child in china still dont know he has a son. In that African country no one is condemning the woman or the child.

    Finally everything a black is capable of, a white, yellow, brown, asians, chinese or otherwise and the rest of citizens of earth are capable of and have done it.

    I have no idea why i am writing this as if it will educate or change the notion of these ignorant haters. Get a life guys, Chinese women will always like blacks, whites and japanese too ;) Aint nothing you say is going to change that. The laugh is on you foreva!!! One Blackanese or Blasian is born every day ;)

    @Malaysian… if you are referring to my use of Chinese, I wasnt being specific, from mainland or otherwise, any man anywhere can do anything. All the ignorant fools on this site know or think they know Black African people because they watch hiphop ganster songs and basketball as if all Black Americans are Africans, though Africans welcome them black or mixed.

    Eitherway scientifically speaking, Chinese are decendants of Blacks.. A research done by Chinese. Read it in New scientific years ago, if someone wants to choke on that then…. Oh and I have Malaysian Chinese friends so I know. My point remains my point, everyone from everywhere is capable of anything..

    Its a shame here people are having to defend their existence or the right to be from bigots, really its a waste of time.     First of all,to be with a black woman brings me one of the best feelings in my life.I myself married to an African American woman and we have been deeply loving each other for more than three years.And the love between us never change for one second because of the race or the skin.On the contraty,we attracted to each other just because the difference of the skin colour,language,the way of thinking,knowledge and so on.We love each other not only in our body but more in our mental and spirit.I remember when we first started to date each other,as you can think,we became a cultural shock to most of people around us.They have never seen a Chinese guy and black woman together but I am sure in their mind they will never forget the image that we are together.Furthermore,we also affect those people everyday,to bring them an open world ,to show them how to enjoy different culture,to teach people how to express your love,to educate people how the world fuction outside of China.It is not a problem to see different races get together and fall in love in America and so many people are doing so and more people will.In china,the country’s GDP is growing faster but the way of people think is still fall behind despite of the culture difference(as we always use it as an excuse).The education system and the media broadcasting definitely are not playing important roles in leading people to a correct way and making people have more open mind to observe this world.It is very hurtful to see my own people act very childish and naive in the media.
    Secondly,love is never just about sex.As we have been living together,my wife has been teaching me stuff from basic knowledge that I never knew before.I found myself have become more and more knowledgable and smart everyday.And I am also trying to teach her Chinese language or whatever as much as I can.So we really are good lovers,couples,friends and partners.We have been seting up our goals together in education and business and we are working on them.It never just about sex.And for those people who think Asian guys cannot satisfy black woman,you all need to stop dreaming of other women and go home satisfy your own woman first.
    Thirdly,people should pay more attention to the culture that black people have,not just love to talk about their sex.There are so much you are learn that you never heard in life before.And please remind of yourself that how many celebraties and sportsmen whom you are crazy for are all black.You all need to use internet and find out how people went to Africa and destory that land and did so many horrible experiments on African people,changed the Egypt face to other colour,spreaded diseases,stole the culture and so many more things.I was shocked when I got all these knowledges in Ameican where all the information are free to everyone since our books in China never taught us before.
    As a black woman’s Chinese husband,I am very pround of my wife.She can cook the best dishes in the world with different flovers,she knows so many music styles from different regions,she take care family,she is very smart shopper,she has so many knowledge in all kinds of fields,she can recite bible like WOW,she helps people especially women and children,she always fights for right,she……How many young genenrations in China can do so with all the spoiled temper,bad habit,lazy mind?If we want to make China become the best country in the world,we all need to educate ourselves more and improve ourselves and fit this world not just talking non-sense and don’t know ABC.
    Smart people will know to catch up other people while catching up himself.Sadly to see so many posts here are negetive about this couple in Shanghai.It is a pity that people don’t get a chance to really get to know each other first but judge others by race and religion.We love to say this world is becoming smaller and smaller.We have all the Olympics,Expo,Sports,Music to bring all races together but some people still have narrow mind.It is just so sad that sometimes the different ways of people’s mind can make this world look so nasty.
    Anyway,I am in love with my wife and I am sure my wife is doing the same.We love each other’s culture and enjoy ourselves.Nothing can make us apart and No one will never break us down!!!

          I would like to encourage you to read more. May I suggest wrtitings by W.E.B. Du Bois, Franz Fanon, Francis Cress Welshing, Nellie Fuller, Dr. Alvin Poussaint, Tim Wise,….I hope and pray that at some point in Chinese Universities there will b e courses included on Black History, African studies, comtemporary culture, and on improving race relations.
